No Foxtel to watch the rugby World Cup game but otherwise nice staff, nice environment and delicious beer.

Delicious food and lovely staff. We will be back again.

Nice furnishings, lots of room, the tables are far enough apart that they offer better privacy than most places. Very nice atmosphere and well maintained. The scotch fillet was medium rare, as requested, but lacked a little flavour. The Jus sauce option worked very with the steak. The chips were very good. I had the chocolate brownie dessert, which was very well presented, and while initially I thought lacked a little flavour, the more I ate the more the flavour revealed itself. The staff set a higher standard than I had expected, and overall it was a very pleasant experience

We visited The Governor for a birthday lunch. Service was easy, service was fast and the food was great.

Girls night out - the food, service and company were excellent

Lovely venue, but the girl that was taking the orders , lack of customer service. She was disrupted by follow staff whilst taking my order and I had to go back and repeat 3 times , she never had a smile and was abrupt.. not much variety on the menu as well

Terrible. For both meals the food was terrible. Pork belly was the worst I’ve ever had, and my friend had the salt and pepper squid was oily and soggy. Very overpriced. No parking. Am a local resident but will not go back.

Food was good. Drink selection very good. Music was way too loud. It was very, very noisy.

Lovely, clean and friendly atmosphere. Clean bathrooms and child friendly. The staff were very polite and helpful, always smiling. The menu is a little pricey for what you get, but is tasty.

$20 for burger and $3 extra for Aioli a bit expensive!

Steaks very over cooked and ham on childrens pizza was so salty the adults struggled to eat it and the child wouldn't/couldn't eat it. Finally you were out of pirate life mosaic beer, your biggest selling beer - how could you not have more in stock?..
