I was very unhappy with this restaurant. I had booked over a week before hand and when we turned up we were given a table towards the back of the restaurant in the dark dingy area. All the good seats towards the front of the restaurant were taken. I asked why given that I had booked a week in advance we were given such a bed table and they said this is where we put couples. Be warned.

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Good disappointing, 3 out of 4 dishes arrived cold and had to be sent back to heat up. Presentation unimaginative, vegetables not cooked.

At the same time when we were there, - unfortunately - there was a larger group of young people there, - mostly girls - and "OH BOY" they were loud. We could not even here talking each other.

The restaurant was really busy but we were still in and out within 45 minutes; which with a tired toddler is a BIG deal!

Food is fresh and authentic Italian. One can choose the type of pasta surcharging spaghetti or fettuccine etc and then choose a different sauce that best suits ones taste. The service was excellent.

Food was amazing, especially the veal and Paul is a fantastic host...definitely recommend The Italian..

Food tasted good but pasta portions were small for the $26, but all in all we had a nice time and food was tasty.

Unfortunately this wasn’t the best experience we’ve had at The Italian. The food took longer than it usually does - there seemed to be confusion with our order and the staff were rude.
