The food was lovely, worst waitress I have ever encountered.
We had a birthday celebration at Veggie Bar. We had booked a table for 6:30 for a group of 9. The service was not very friendly, in fact, we found it quite rude. We understand the restaurant was busy but that's really no excuse for rude service. We then had to wait for our food to arrive for at least an hour, by which time we were starving! We are regulars at The Veggie Bar and were disappointed to have had this experience. It's not usually this bad.
The waiter was very helpful. Food fine, mee goreng huge! Not happy about being told would be charged $3/person to consume pre-made birthday cake when we were spending over $400!

For the main event you can choose from dishes such as veggie fish tacos filled with crispy jackfruit fillets, black bean and sweet corn salsa, and wasabi aioli or their smoked tofu and red quinoa burger with lettuce, tomato, avocado, vegan cheese and chipotle aioli in an organic kamut burger bun.
