The staff were nice enough and tried to please but the food was quite disappointing, steak was chewy and the charred broccoli was freezing cold.

Great food, a lot of selection and nice vibe. Would suit a business lunch or social catch up with friends. Great spot - recommend it.

Good variety in the Menu and Wine list. The service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere very pleasant. Above all this was all presented at a very reasonable cost.

Great lunch space and service. Good express lunch, plus usually get 1 or 2 share plates in addition. Nice coffees also, and got selection of tapas and wines. Handy to book as it gets busy.

Lovely spot and food pretty good. New staff didn't know the menu so couldn't be very helpful, but assuming they learn more about their food, it would be a spot to go back to more often...

Best happy hour around, great wine, really good tapas and the service was fantastic. Good selection of wines and you can book a table which works when it gets so busy

We used a 'Groupon'. Food offered on the 7 course fixed menu is interesting, promptly served and nicely presented. 25% discount on drinks for Groupon users is terrific. Wait staff are excellent. Recommend the Earthworks Shiraz. Like a lot of places in the CBD everything is hard surfaces with lots of echo so quiet conversation is impossible. Can't recommend as a place for a nervous proposal of marriage however a great place for celebration of a successful proposal made elsewhere.

Very nice experience, the service was attentive, the lunch was really quite delicious. Not overcrowded tables is a plus. Certainly recommended for lunch time catch ups

I had heard good things, however the service was not great, our order took a long time to come out and then a number of my party were disappointed with their orders. Not sure if I will return with all the other CBD offerings.

We had the $ 20 - 4 course express lunch. Food was yummy, would be better if the portion if a bit bigger. May be pump up the price $ 25 or 30 and give a bigger portion = perfect!

The Wolf consistently provides a venue with a great atmosphere, friendly efficient service and excellent food. I always enjoy the experience and believe it is very good value right in the heart of Sydney. Also, forgot to mention the wine list. Outstanding and a solid variety of bottled and draft beer.

Amazing wine list and a delicious menu that's great for sharing! I'd recommend the pork belly and the cheese platter! It was incredibly busy for a Wednesday night so glad we booked!

We had the $35 banquet and it was pretty good. The atmosphere is also great. The service is a little haphazard but ultimately it's a great place for a drink and a feed.

I've been to The Wolf for work lunches and with smaller groups as well. The food is always delicious, and the service great too although when busy it can take a long time for food to come out. Try the set menu if you're really hungry!

Ive been her a few times and the food is always really good. The service unfortunatly let the whole experience down last night. 15 minute wait for menus, waited to order and had to hunt down a waitress every time I went to the toilet which was annoying. Food was really good though and a good choice of drinks.

First time to venue, it's a little cramped, the tables & seating are a little hard to manouvre, the service was friendly but a a little slow. The food however was fantastic. Very tasty and a good selection to suit most tastes

Great place for lunch been a number of times now - the $20 daily express lunch is fabulous value for money - the only thing that lets it down a little is that service is a bit non existant - great when you first get there but after that difficult to get anyone to pay you any attention - otherwise would have been a 5

A quaint venue in the heart of the cbd. Amazing food (the share platters were fabulous! If they only had a bit of dessert to go with the set menu), fantastic selection of wine (I'm a huge fan of old world Italian reds). The only thing I didn't enjoy, for such a small venue, it was a bit too cramped. As a hospitality worker myself (for a high end hotel) I thought the staff could have done a bit more to deal with the excessively large loud group next to us. It was obvious one of the ladies had way to much to drink already. It kind of brought the atmosphere rating down. Other than that. Great night :)

One of my favourite lunch spots - if its a burger or shared tapas, The Wolf doesn't disappoint. They also have a great happy hour with $10 cocktails!

Unfortunately it wasn't what I expected a 7 course meal to be like, It was more of a pub rather than a place to drink... there was no tables even though we made a reservation. Might need to use the groupon during a mid week

The meal was quite nice. Well cooked steak and lamb. The carrots were also quite good. Quite cramped seating though and felt we part of the thoroughfare to the larger tables surrounding us. Service was good.

We enjoyed the food and the happy hour drinks. it got a bit too noisy but I suppose that is to be expected. We would try it on a weeknight to see if the noise level is better. Very friendly staff too.
