We had a lovely dinner here last night with quick service and the staff were very friendly. Our recommendations are, Agedashi Tofu, Goma Nasu, Unagi Kabayaki and Karaage Chicken.

I've been there before when it was busy and the atmosphere was much nicer, but tonight we were on our own in the restaurant and it was a completely different feel. We had booked a table for 5 and they put us on the smaller table set which wasn’t big enough for the dishes they were rushing out of the kitchen. Wait staff also did not clear empty dishes before trying to put new dishes on the table, and in a restaurant that was empty, still felt the need to reach across us rather than move to the other side to serve dishes/drinks while we were trying to eat our food. The feeling tonight was very low standard cafe style dining and was a big disappointment. The food was also not good at all. The sashimi was fishy and not fresh, and the tempura was all batter and over cooked. I left feeling embarrassed and disappointed that I had recommended the restaurant for dinner.

Food was excellent and quick to arrive which was good as we were going to a comedy show after dinner. Is loud there when full and can be hard to here the people you are with.

Was expecting much more than I got and felt let down. Beer and Sake perfect! However, Ebi prawn tasted out of frozen pack - bland and disappointing. Salmon sashimi chewy and therefore not as fresh or prepared properly. Kingfish sashimi better but not really fresh enough.

The food and service is stunning! All of the food coming out at the same time.... I don’t like. Would be nice if meals were staggered.

Atmosphere was good, music was a bit loud (all I could hear was the beat). Could have done with a bit more elbow room - customers were a bit close together. Food was excellent and serving sizes were just right.

Food quality and taste was exceptional, though the portions were small, especially for the sashimi and karaage chicken. Takoyaki and scallops highly recommended. Best Japanese in Geelong by far.

Cannot tell you how good the food is and is a delight on the palate too.

I attended with my family 3 children 15,13,11. Excellent food great choice for all the family Great atmosphere The only very small elements that tarnished the experience, would be:- the tables were very sticky and we felt pressured to make a decision with the menu quickly. We will definitely come back.

Great food, great service. Only down side was the music blaring from the bluetooth speaker. Had to ask a couple of times for it to be moved to the other end of the bar. We eventually moved to another table so that solved things. Overall a great night!
