Since it opened in early 2015, Waterman’s Lobster Co has become famous around Sydney for its lobster rolls, attracting fish fanatics from all over the city to its location in Potts Point. With sleek and stylish beach-inspired decor, and a small but carefully curated menu of delicious seafood dishes,Waterman’s Lobster Co is one of the finest casual dining fish restaurants this side of Sydney. To see what all the fuss is about, head on over to Orwell Street and find out for yourself.
Waterman's lobster & co. has always been our favourite lunch destination due to the amazing lobster rolls of course, the relaxed atmosphere, the very friendly staff who have been so helpful & went above and beyond when I made the booking and told them me & my partner we're celebrating our one year anniversary. We were also surprised with our complimentary dessert which was so delicious! Overall the best place in Sydney to have a relaxed lunch, dinner or just to have some drinks. ***** 5 Stars all the way!!!
Delightful and delicious. Excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and all said we would return. What a great place to enjoy all the deliciousness of lobster and seafood. The clams were to die for.
Everything was nice, except the chips was bit overpowered by the seasoning. They even had a water bowl ready for our dogs before we got there, very sweet
While visiting America and dining in New York lobster shacks, Waterman’s Lobster Co’s owners realised that Sydney was missing out, and decided to bring a similar concept back to the city, much to the delight of Potts Point’s seafood loving crowd. The signature dish at this Orwell Street hotspot is the Maine lobster roll, a delicious combination of mayo, diced celery, seasoning, butter, lemon and lobster that has been specially imported from the Atlantic for a truly authentic taste, served inside a fresh bread roll. If lobster isn't your kind of thing, you could go for a roll filled with scallops, pea puree and pork floss, or the soft-shell crab roll with Korean slaw and candied peanut.
The seafood isn’t the only attraction at this Potts Point eatery though, you’ll also find an impressive selection of finest Australian wines, as well as handcrafted cocktails whipped up by the in-house mixologist. The Ritz Spritz, a mouth-watering combination of peach liqueur, almond, lemon juice and sparkling wine is the perfect accompaniment to your seafood feast at Sydney’s much loved Waterman’s Lobster Co.
