Yavanna Plant-based Restaurant

Entree mushroom fried was way too oily with mushroom so thin could not taste and couldn’t eat it. Dry mash potato, broccoli missing top. The steak was not good. Fried chicken dry. Service was terrible. Best thing was the bottle of wine. It was lovely. We can see why the place was empty . You will really need to fix the food if you want to stay open. We came down from Cairns and tried 5 vegan eateries. Unfortunately Yavanna was at the bottom with the lowest score.

Beautiful food, lovely atmosphere and lovely staff. We will be back again.

An all round great dining experience. The food is amazing. We had the eggplant steak with creamy cheesy gnocchi and the chicken schnitzel. Will be back soon...

The food was fantastic! The staff was very attentive and friendly.

The stag knowledge of food allergies and the menu was atrocious. It is so dangerous to have people working with food who can't tell you what is gluten free and what isn't. Also when you put gluten free on a menu then you best be ready to provide a gluten free food offering. Utterly awful experience we walked out before we ate.

Middle of queensland summer and they had the heaters on, when asked if they could turn the aircon on they turned it up, but heating, not cooling. Food was below averadge and not as described on the menu.

We were very disappointed at the limited menu of proper imaginative vegan meals. They were mainly pretend meats- ‘chicken schnitzel’, ‘beef’ meals, etc. No imagination taken. White bean hummus very nice. Staff very nice and obliging. Replaced a drink free of charge. I’m afraid we wouldn’t go again.
