Food staff v friendly professional and attentive Ambience v Italian Enjoyed v much

Best meal we've eaten since arriving in Sydney 5 days ago!

Great, excellent as always. A classic Italian restaurant, good food, good service, great ambience

Our last night n Sydney had a great meal close to our hotel. Seated promptly and excellent service.

The lighting was too bright and spoilt the atmosphere and there were no candles on the tables but loved everything else and with a few tweaks I would say it would be one of our favourite restaurants in Sydney

Another fantastic meal at Alfredo, my go to restaurant when visiting Sydney.

This is one of Sydney's dining gems. Certainly on a Wednesday evening - not too crowded - just nicely filled with happy clientele. Very importantly, you can speak and be heard. There is a buzz - but its not noisy. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Food and wine wonderful to spectacular. And Staff all seem delighted to be there: attentive but not cloying; helpful but not pushy; friendly but not in the face. And its not even too expensive. It is definitely a favourite!

We love this restaurant and have been many times. We recommend it to friends.

It really was not authentic. I booked my table in May and I was stuck in the middle of a long line of tables with no privacy. This restaurant used to be so authentic and I really felt it was not that now

We really enjoyed our meal at Alfredos. The house made pasta is to die for.

It was ok. Decent quality food but a very old fashioned environment. There was a weird incorrect description on the desert menu which caused confusion. Overall a traditional but pretty unexciting Italian restaurant.

Very tight space, takes you back in time with the velvet red curtains and waiters wearing vests. A touch of old school really gives it character. Food was impressive, not something I'd go boasting to all my friends about though.

A little bit of Melbourne-style Italian in Sydney. Busy but quiet enough to talk and the most experienced waiters in the business. The Italian wines are the best.

Started with a few cocktails downstairs which were delicious and creative; had 2 of the freshly made seafood pastas, both of which were amazing, then finished with a tiramisu. Really fantastic service all around and great atmosphere both upstairs and downstairs. This is one of the best Italian restaurants we’ve been to in Australia — can’t wait to go back.

A wonderful, charming atmosphere. The seafood spaghetti was exactly the style i love. A great mixture of herbs, mild spices, perfect pasta and all kinds of seafood types, be it prawns, mollusks, etc., it was a true delight. Their wine selection is perfectly suited as well. I enjoyed an Australian 2017 glass of shiraz.

Nice food took an hour for our food to arrive though

Noise and overpriced but fast service. Not kids friendly at all

Main course was very slow and the Resturaunt very noisy, food good
