Lovely food, friendly staff, would dine there again. My only negative is that I wish that the waitress would wait until all four parties had finished their meals before removing just one plate, I think it makes people feel as though they should hurry up eating so the rest of the plates can be cleared

Helpful, pleasant staff, we all enjoyed our meals. We visited last month too, and will return. Good street parking nearby, very convenient location.

We celebrated a wonderful birthday at Amici. Food was suberb.

We were totally rushed the whole time, didn’t even finish entree and our mains were out. The food was ordinary all round and extremely disappointing, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

the sauce on the veal and also the Spinach and ricotta ravioli seemed to have been made on mass and used as required. The veggies with the veal were over cooked, especially the broccoli, @ $38 i expected fresher. The staff were friendly and efficient. The front half of the restaurant is next to the kitchen so is quite noisy. Regret to say we will not be back.

Our favourite Italian restaurant! We return here again and again. Great food, vibrant atmosphere and attentive staff. The best!

Amici is one of my favourite restaurants and has been for years. Last nights dinner only served to solidify my feelings. Excellently crafted food with generous servings. My brothers who don’t often show enthusiasm while eating, had the biggest smiles, and when asked if the food was good I received a very serious ‘YES!’ Thank you to the Amici staff!

Everything good until a server told me that the chef had cooked the wrong meal for me and so there would be a delay. Apart from that, service was excellent. Food always good here especially the Cheese and Garlic "pizza bread."

Service was great. Happy to have table up the back away from the front which is was crowded and noisy. Food was delicious but maybe a smidge too much salt for my taste as my mouth felt parched afterwards despite having drinks.

The service was excellent, with beautiful pasta and, quite honestly, the best pizzas in Hobart. They’re pricey but oh so worth it. Parking can be an issue and make sure you book early if eating in; they also do takeaway.

Food fantastic, you tend to feel rushed, table close to takeaway area, which is not the best. I would recommend asking for a table out the back.

Had to request staff to attend to provide us with water and to take orders for drinks and food. Wine was past the use by date - response from staff when given feedback was positive and the drink replaced and drinks were not charged food was ok. restaurant very small and crammed and also served as thoroughfare for the busy take away element of the business. there was a constant flow of people milling around the table waiting for their order. Staff performance - with the exception of one waitress who I thought redeemed the evening, was mediocre.

Food was average and not the restaurant it once was. Very disappointed not sure we will return as Hobart has cheaper and better restaurants around

The food is always extreme;y good, and the service very polite. Would recommend Amici to anyone wanting a great Italian meal with many menu choices.

Took two friends to my fave restaurant to show it off and we all had a lovely meal. Staff were helpful nd friendly as always. Loved it!

So good!! Food was great as was the service which was prompt and friendly - good gluten free options too. Only criticism is it’s a bit crowded and the menu is hard to read. Perfect service and food though!!

The food was lovely and the staff were great but I still can’t get over an Italian restaurant that doesn’t have ciabatta or any other kind of crusty bread!

Had a fantastic night here for a Fanily ore Christmas dinners. The food was absolutely sensational, great atmosphere and terrific service. Looking forward to going again soon.

Was here for a birthday celebration and all guests were more than satisfied with their meals. Large serve of garlic calzone for entree was ample for four people. Service and friendliness of staff is always appreciated. Well done.
