Food was excellent and service very good. Bit cramped out the back with two big groups (extremely minor issue though). Will be back again !

We were kicked out after only 70 minutes. Were not asked if we wanted drinks until 20 minutes after being there. Food was really good though- just bad service.

Great food and friendly staff always have a wonderful meal You are always feel made very welcome. Have no problem in recommending people go along and enjoy yourself

A tasty meal and friendly, very helpful, service. The waiter was most accommodating in finding an alternate table when my friend and I, hoping for a quite catch up after several months, realised that a nearby large group of 20-30 youngsters might impact on our being able to hold a quiet conversation. His assistance was much appreciated.

Outside it was chilly but the heaters were on and the restaurant was lovely and warm inside. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Our meals were delicious. As we have eaten here several times we decided to share our mains. We had our favourite (pollo fettuccine) and tried avocado e gamberi. (a little hot but the blue cheese toned it down a bit - delicious). Always a good meal and service here.

the food and service were excellent but we were seated at table 12, we have sat there before and it is very cold so request not to sit there.

Food was excellent as was the service. The only issue I have is the noise but that's probably because the restaurant is so popular that it is full all the time. Great restaurant for families.

Absolutely beautiful food and staff! Couldn’t have asked for a better atmosphere. Serving portions were decent amounts myself and my partner couldn’t even fit in dessert! The only negative thing I can comment on was that there wasn’t much room between tables and I felt like there wasn’t much privacy to the table. I also felt like I couldn’t talk to my partner without interrupting the table besides us or feeling like they were listening in on our conversation.

Stuffed up our order by forgetting a meal. Servers first night and didn’t seem to get much help, then way over serviced by three different staff which was weird and awkward, but generally ok. Food was ok

We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant for my son's 14th Birthday. The staff were happy, friendly and ensured we got to our movie on time. THE FOOD WAS DIVINE!! We'll be back for sure.

I always love going to Amici. Always great service and amazing food. Pizza and pasta is amazing. I would highly recommend Amici to sit in or take away.

Everything was very nice, wait staff were extremely helpful, food was delicious and portion size was enormous. The garlic breads are to die for! Loved it

This was the first time we have dined at Amici - we would have liked a table up the back the ones down the front are like you are in a gold fish bowl with people watching you - we thoroughly enjoyed the food and would come back again.

The Hobart food scene is booming but Amici remains one of the best family restaurant options in Hobart - excellent service, generous helpings, very child-friendly.

We were dining as a group of 10, the meal was good, the service friendly and helpful and prices very reasonable especially with the Entertainment Book discount applied. Recommend for groups and casual dining

Absolutely loved the restaurant. It was my first time going there and the service and food were just Devine. Definitely will recommend amici to others.

Food good. A bit pricy. Staff friendly although we had a "first day" employee who obviously hadn't been given any training about the menu and the drinks. Very noisy.

The environment itself is very loud, like the tables are only 30cm away from each other and it just made everything feel tight and uncomfortable, waitresses were contasntly bumping into our table. The food overall was pretty good, although the pizza was were covered in way too much sauce. A bit dissapointing with the prices because the meals, even though they were good, didn’t reach the standard of a $30 dish.

The staff are friendly and very efficient, even to the point of remembering what we usually order. The food, of course, is consistently good. I would highly recommend a visit.

Party of 12 and they found it difficult to serve the meals in a reasonsble time frame. Service was just so. Very disappointed compared to last time we were there.

Great food and service. I had Beef Carpaccio for starters which was excellent. Veal Funghi for main course - the creamy Funghi sauce was deliciously rich and but couldn't eat it all and the veal was cooked to perfection. A bit noisy if you're after a quite dinner but that was because it was pretty full and the accoustics of these old building are not great. Highly recommend Amici for dinner.

Quite good food. Excellent service from wait staff, but meal took a long time for delivery. Veal dishes were quite good. Good local wine list.

The staff were very friendly and efficient. Atmosphere very nice. Went on a Sunday night as a group of eight we all thoroughly enjoyed the food and wine!

We have eaten here before and have found the food to be consistently good. Of course, when you do a good job, you get plenty of customers and sometimes this place can be a bit squashy. Out the back is pretty average. But we will return again.

I was surprised to find authentic Italian food in Hobart. Food was pretty good, service was ok. Beef capaccio was really nice. Salad leaves are super fresh. Great experience

Very good service; pasta was good. Disappointed with herb bread - too greasy, couldn’t eat it. Need better beer selection, maybe pale ale as well.

Food was delicious. Started with garlic and cheese pizza bread (which was beautiful - should have got the large but, probably would not have fitted mains in). Had the entree size pollo fettuccine which was ample in size and delicious. Just enough sauce. All wait staff were polite and courteous. Only criticism was that as we were only a table of two we were squashed into the back corner. Table of 5 next to us were noisy and they had to move to let us out from the table?

Service was great, the girls were quick to provide a high chair and give it a clean. Food came out quickly and was fantastic as always.

Came here on a recommendation and loved the meal. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Wine selection was adequate and reasonably priced. Would recommend this restaurant.

Booking was a simple procedure. Restaurant was fully booked but staff were able to seat some walk ins. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Meal timing was spot on. And drinks monitored precisely. Meals were excellent. Very enjoyable night.
