Service was great, atmosphere was good, but my Parma was brunt and my wife’s garlic prawns was cold. We did get them replaced and was good, also for $14 kids nuggets and chips, for 5 nuggets and chips with no kids drink for ice cream included like a lot of other places offer, that’s just a rip off. We might be back, but not for a while. Not much value there anymore.

waiting a long time for them to take our orders had to go to the bar ourselves to order, we had roast beef and it was cold told the manger but she didn't care

We love the staff at Amstel and that is the main reason we come back. The main reason it takes us so long to come back is the complete inconsistency in the food service. Tonight my partners Alfredo was like soup and for some reason my asparagus hadn't been prepped properly and I had to discard the woody ends at my plate. Really disappointing.

We arrived at our booking time, 8:00pm which was the only time available. Once seated we ordered a some drinks to celebrate my wife’s birthday, two waitresses came to asked if we were ready to order, so we ordered some entrees and was told the kitchen would be closing at 8:30pm. The 2nd waitress came 5 mins later and asked us to order now as the kitchen will be closing, she was very rude in her manner and when we asked for more time she didn’t seem happy, we advised her that we would be happy to receive a refund for our drinks and leave, she walked off and rolled her eyes like we meant nothing. A 3rd waitress arrived and politely asked if we could order due to the kitchen closing so we don’t miss out on food, we asked why we were not informed of the kitchen closing at 8:30pm upon our arrival, and she was very apologetic and we ordered our mains. Once our mains arrived, it felt like we were rushed to finish our mains so the staff could clean up. I couldn’t even order a dessert to celebrate my wife’s birthday. This was a very disappointing experience and we didn’t enjoy our night.

Food doesn’t taste as great as previous visits I’ve the past few years and came out like warm and not evenly heated which was disappointing to eat.

I booked this dinner for our 44th wedding anniversary and I booked it for 6.30 pm.When we arrived for our dinner we were told that the table was double booked and that we had to finish by 8pm.Now that gave us an hour and a half to get a drink order and eat it. Not very satistactory as we both felt under pressure to get finished in time. For that reason i would not book again for Amstel if it was for someoccasion that is likely to attract a crowd(example Valentines Day).

Meals very average , vegetarian risotto was tasteless, vegetable pieces too chunky & meat lovers Parma cold, chips and vegetables cold as well.

First time dining at the Amstel Club. Nice and comfortable surroundings. Very busy in restaurant, but wait time was not too long. Food was nice, a little bit expensive but still enjoyable. Will return for another meal.

Wonderful service and value. Our meals were excellent and well presented. The $15 seniors meal was very adequate, delicious and value for money.

food was average. my friend had a vegan risotto and it tasted so bland there was absolutely no flavour in it. two of us had the chicken scallopini which was served in a bowl and really hard to eat out of
