Absolutely love Amstal club. From the security gentleman at the door who helps you check in, to the wonderful servers within the restaurant, the hospitality was incredible. We were able to use points from our membership to pay for part of our meal. This made dinner for our family of four, under $50! We love amstal and will continue coming back and recommending this great family bistro to others.

Loved the food and all service was great. It was a little noisy to be able to converse easily especially as we were at a long table ( for 8 ) next to a couple of large groups but not sure if that can really be avoided. We still enjoyed dining there and will be back again.

My barramundi was delicious however my friend ordered the entree Calamari which was inedible. It was undercooked and tasted of flour. She sent it back and wasn’t charged for it which is good, but disappointing for her.

Have spoken to manager about a little problem, food was great & some staff were lovely, but sadly was cold due to being sat by the outside door which opened every few minutes.

The seafood platter for 2 was very tasty, we got a nice table near the window, service was quick, staff helpful and bathrooms clean.

We order 2 Seafood Platters for 2 and found them to be underwhelming- if the platter is supposed to be for 2, why are only 3 prawns and 3 oysters given. One platter initially didn’t have the oysters. Plus, the “side” salad was a few pieces of lettuce and a bit of tomato. The previous platter which was just for one was so much better. The ribs that were ordered were very dry and the coleslaw that was included was missing (on both orders)- we had to ask for the coleslaw. It just seems like the standard of the food has dropped quite significantly. Having said that, the staff (as usual) were polite, friendly and helpful. We used to go to the Amstel often, but now just not sure if we would go back again.

We have been going to Amstel for a long time the food and service have always been amazing but this time the food was terrible I took 2 bites of my food and couldn’t eat it as it had absolutely no flavour.
