First time and very happy with meal and service excellence

Food was cold so I sent it back. Did come out piping hot next time. What I ordered would be bettter if it came with a vegetable of some sort though. It was new to menu but I don’t think I would order it again.

The main meals are massive for adults. Very good meals. Having the option of a smaller version would be a good idea as I'm guessing there would be a bit of food wastage. Not everyone wants to take home what they couldn't eat.

The prices have gone up so much it’s probably going to be our last visit. The food doesn’t match the cost. Service was good.

$9 for a pot of cc and it came in a kids cup! Food took nearly an hour. The meals were OK! Nothing to rave about IMO.

Waited ages for someone to come & take our order then more than an hour to receive our meals long after our daughter had eaten her kids meal. Male Waiter made us hand over a credit card as we are not members with no explanation as to why & this wasn’t the case on my last visit. Same Male waiter going past with dirty dishes dropped a tub of white sauce beside us and kept walking leaving it on the floor. A poor little girl stepped in it and it was stuck to her shoe making a trail for others to step in. We had to ask a waitress to come & clean it up. Very disappointing experience especially as it was 7 of the 8 people’s first experience dining here. Not likely to return.

It was a busy night we were seated in the courtyard, it was lovely in there. The waitresses were all great and were very helpful. Food was presented lovely and tasted amazing. The bar staff did a great job with the cocktails we ordered i cant wait to come back

We were pleasantly surprised. This was our first visit and we will certainly back, perhaps try the outside area next time as the noise level was the only issue.

There was a mistake with our food… the staff were. Amazing…fixed in a minute..

The service was very slow and I had to ask to order as we needed to go back to work. When the food came out it was not hot, very small serving for the price. When we wanted to pay we had to wait and again ask for service.

Great food, staff are amazing. Amstel is definitely our go to place.

Good wasn’t great Lasagne was so dry it tasted like it was made last week.

Very loud and it wasn’t even full in the bistro.

Meals were delicious unfortunately the meals for the table did not all come out at the same time and one was left off entirely. There was probably a 20 min difference from the first meal to come out to the last one.

Very good staff and the food and menu is great. All your staff make you so welcome.

A bit disappointed with the lamb shank meal. The mashed potato was lukewarm. The lamb could have been softer and tastier. Excellent service though.

I ordered Battered fish tails, sadly after paying $31 Dollars the plate was a plate of batter and that being very pale. Nothing I would rush to again or recommend.

Ordered the paella and it was smothered in tomato sauce and tomato sauce is not listed as ingredient on menu. Got charged for garlic sauce and is included in steak menu. Ribeye order came with very small amount of chips and disappointing. Lamb roast was stale and tasteless. Nasi goren arrived barely warm and needed to be sent back for re heating. Did not enjoy meal and disappointed with non traditional paella. More like a tomato rissoto.

We wait for more than 45 minutes before we serve and another 30 min for main course. Food wasn’t that great just normal deep frying served with main I prefer something else apart from chips.

Everybody’s food was terrible. Staff were friendly, game and playground room was good for kids.

Went for breakfast had the big breaky and wifey had eggs benny very nice good size breaky

Waited 50 minutes to get food, when it arrived cold, my partner had honey soy chicken, chicken was dry, the bed of rice was like it was cooked three days prior to being serve on the plate, ordered garlic bread never Arrived asked three times where it was. Spoke with manager explained dissatisfaction offered to give money back. We didn’t except that the point was so the staff are more alert on what is being served, we will never return and I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Biggest disappointed experience I have ever had

The decor and the atmosphere was very good, nice and light. The staff were very friendly and helpful the food was served nice and hot. A good place for families I will definitely return.

Do yourself a favor… It’s often hard to fault the quality & continuity of meals in the Bistro. I find the Amstel Club has a vast menu to choose from & great value, especially as a Club Member. I love that you can help yourself to as much or as little Sparkling or Still mineral water as you like—it’s ‘on tap’ which is always a healthy option & no Bar queues!

Overall it was ok, good for the kids but the food was just ok

Everything was good, the food, atmosphere etc. The only thing we were quite amazed at when the lady asked for our debit card to be held till we finished our food. That is something we have never come across any restaurants anywhere.
