The children said that the playroom smelled of urine but the restaurant was otherwise great.

Been here a few times with my family and this time it was a little disappointing. We had a table of 7 and we were placed on a table of 6 . We also ordered a few things that never made it to our table . Nonetheless the food was still great and we still enjoyed our time .

Was quite busy on a Saturday night and had to wait about 30 mins to be served and then another hour for our mains to come out. Some of our meals were great (steak, parma, brisket) and some were just average (spaghetti, nasi goreng)

lovely staff, surf n turf was definitely a cheap cut of steak but was cooked perfectly same with meat platter. not really worth the $50 and $60 each but lovely staff. do need more than 2 bar staff on though when fully booked out, crazy busy!

We often visit Amstel and usually love it Tonight we felt wasn’t as good. Took ages for our meals to come out and they weren’t hit barely warm, especially the veggies which we felt were frozen Vegs The kids meals took longer then the adults to come out For the first time ever we commented how things were as good tonight

Customer service was average. She was polite but did not seem to know very much about the menu, eg. serving size. Food was ok - nothing that wowed us but nothing bad either. Food before the renos was so much better so not sure if there's been a change in kitchen staff.

The only thing I was disappointed is that we had a 2 hour limit…not that we would stay longer ….it was just unwanted pressure to rush through your meal.

Hey there, ordered garlic bread with no cheese (got cheese), wifes chicken schnitzel and chips was cold and i asked for burger with no tomato or pickle but got tomato. Very busy atmosphere (which is great!!) but felt like no care at all about the experience. Wouldve stayed longer but we left pretty disappointed.

My 11 year old son was disappointed with play area but overall the restaurant was great and meals were amazing.

Haven’t been to Amstall club since way back, when it was still a golf course. The renovations are superb to match the atmosphere, service and definitely the food. The seafood platter and the Amstall meat platter are very much worth the price. Excellent meal.
