Menu was very plain. Not much variety at all. Very noisy too.

Love the new look. Fantastic work with all the renovations.

Food was great and 2 for 1 made it affordable especially when you have a large family. Was served the wrong bottle of wine, but was not an issue they fixed it up when I brought it to their attention.

New area looks fabulous and food was quick and excellent. Chicken Scallopine was delicious. Well done to all .

Service gresy and food full of flavour and venue great

A quick lunch stop in the exciting new bistro, coming home from a too long shopping expedition, ravenous. The kitchen staff supplied two very satisfying meals, in short order. All washed down with $5 schooners!

Meal was great Staff still need to pay more attention to the customer. Seems the staff have improved but still tend to be happy talking amongst themselves whilst customers are waiting to be served. I

It was very busy. Meals were ok but could have been a bit better. Asked for drinks for the kids and they couldn’t make them.

Fantastic again. Food amazing. Well worth a visit. 10/10. Will be back.

Highly recommend as the food was great and the service was very good.

Thought it would be better to have the kids all placed down in the play area.

Overall reasonably good however need to iron out a few issues with service. Ordered 2 coffees and it took them 30mins to arrive! Bar staff were great and very apologetic but even after pointing out we were still waiting it took another 10min for their only barista to come and make them.

Liked the new set up but service was slow and had to wait at the bar and the ordering counter for someone to serve. Loved the kids play area makes it Family friendly. Food was good

The food was great. The huge room was a bit cold and canteen like. The playroom was awesome for the kids. The barman didnt know what a lager shandy was, or a white wine spritzer! What type of barman is that?! The fire alarm was sounding for the last 20 minutes of our dinner but no stafc members advised anyone of whether to leave or whether it was a false alarm??? Very mixed feelings about our visit and I’m hoping it was all teething problems

Venue is amazing. Food great. Slow to react when fire alarm went off. No-one was evacuated. This was a worry.

Very busy. Waited 45 mins for our meal and had an alarm sounding for at least 10 mins thru the bistro over dinnertime.

Wonderful venue, delicious food and very helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend venue. The children’s playground was a hit with our kids.

Lovely bistro, great play area, only thing was meals took way too long esp kids meals. 40/45 min wait for meals. Kids meals packs are great money value and kids loved them. 2 for one mains were great and food was delicious.

Unfortunately 1 meal was cold when it arrived to the table and the venue itself was fairly cold to sit and eat dinner in.

Loved the new decor and building the food was great and the service was excellent. Looking forward to our next visit.

Delicious food for all 7 diners. From steak to kids meals and yummy desserts. Well priced and great helpful staff too. Kids loved the massive play area. A brilliant night.

Undergoing major renovations, and still able to produce magnificent meals! The new bistro is to open 27 July, I've already booked a table.

Unfortunately the atmosphere when we entered the club was a let down. All because the club is under renovation. However the staff are very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Our food was a pleasant surprise, a good sized plate of food and it was delicious. Prices are very reasonable for the food and drinks. Will return when the renovations are finished.

The food is always good and the portions large. The staff are helpful and friendly. Can't wait for the renovation to be finished.

Another superb lunch, the teryaki beef from the specials list. It went well with the pint of Furphy beer for $8!

Can't wait for the renovations to be completed which will make so much difference to the room they currently have.

We have enjoyed the food and service very much each time we have been to Amstel and hope that the prices and food stay. We are looking forward to seeing the new Amstel when the renovation are completed.
