Small portions and the pho was very average. All our other meals were deliciously tasting, however again small portions. Suitable for a quick, local meal however I wouldn’t call the pho authentic Vietnamese. No mint, bean sprouts or any garnish for that matter.

The food was especially delicious on this visit. The crispy skin chicken was great, as were the fresh spring rolls and the king prawn rolls. Unfortunately our favour dessert, the rum parfait, has not been available the last few times we’ve visited. Hopefully it’s back on the menu next time!

Still good food, but on Saturday the service was almost absent. Average size Vietnamese meal for 4 took 2 hours to be served and tables around us were left uncleared. Hopefully it was just a single night problem.

Served mains with entree. Totally forgot one meal, charged a $5 variation fee for removing tofu from one dish, soggy stir fried vegetables. Not my best experience.

Incredibly slow service at Bay Tinh, it took over 90 minutes for food to arrive, could be better for sure. Food was good when it eventually arrived.

Lovely service staff Nice Father’s Day touch with a free drink! The rice needs to be served with the mains not when they are mostly finished

The food was very tasty unfortunatly the staff were very busy and far too slow with the meal. Perhaps on this particular night they were short staffed

Food was great however service was ordinary. multiple wrong drinks on a table of 4, and food rushed out, before courses were finished, presumably to free up a table for later guest.

It's a pleasant experience. The setting is worn, tables clean with plastic tablecloths, patrons packed tight, but service is swift and attentive. The food is fine, but not as tastily authentic as one gets in Canley Vale or Cabramatta, with some odd western additions like Garlic Prawns. Prices are midrange - on the upside for asian food in Sydney. A good if meagre wine list for the price conscious.

Good service, friendly wait staff. I have been coming to this restaurant for 25 years - the food is very fresh - but I feel the portion sizes have shrunk.

Very good food but the restaurant was understaffed for a busy Saturday night. First dish came quickly but then a long wait for the second and we cancelled the third dish.

In a party of 7 we were comfortably seated in a square booth. My husband and I are vegetarians but we didn’t have to miss out. The crispy pancake to start could have had more flavour, but after I had the mock duck on greens which was delicious, all the meat eaters tried it and agreed. My husband asked them to create a special meal for him as he was feeling delicate and they did gladly. Our friends loved their meat and fish dishes, service was prompt with a smile. Top meal.

The food was fantastic and didn't take long to come out after we ordered. Staff were attentive and checked on us regularly. It was a bit noisy in the restaurant at times because of a couple of larger groups.

Lovely food, tasty, well presented, attentive staff and all questions about GF answered. The venue is quite nice and we noticed the quiet acoustics in comparison to most eating places.

It's been a while since I have been to Bay Tinh, since they closed the Crows Nest restaurant but the original Marrickville restaurant still has the magic. We went for my birthday dinner. The food and service was great as always. Thoroughly recommend the cube beef (so tasty and tender), banh xeo (very tasty), salt & pepper calamari (delicious) and prawn bonfire (my favourite way to eat prawns).

The table for 6 of us at the window had plenty of room, very comfortable. The food was as good as expected from other reviews, very flavoursome and well presented. Service great and staff very friendly. Would recommend without hesitation.

The food was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The lotus leaf rice is a MUST! Our only complaint was the noise when the restaurant filled up.

Wonderful food with great service. It was a busy Saturday night but lots of staff and an efficient kitchen meant everything flowed seamlessly, Highly recommmended for groups and a quick bite before a show.

This is still my favourite. They have the world's best salt and pepper squid, and the little rice cakes are great as well. The staff are professional and friendly, and the place always has a wonderful ambience.
