Bay Tinh - Marrickville

Always a great meal at Bay Tinh, and the service is always brilliant. This has become my go to restaurant in Marrickville, because of the excellent food, great service and friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Staff was very helpful with great suggestions about serving sizes and meal accompaniments. Food was fresh and very tasty . Service was just as good as the food. Everything was perfect.

We love this restaurant and go there regularly. Food is delicious. Wait staff could be more attentive. We would have added to our order except no-one checked back, and it wasn't a particularly busy night.

Always exceptional. Excellent service. Wide range of gluten free dishes. We have been coming to the Bay Tinh for many years and we are never disappointed with the food or the service that we receive.

Poor service, not warm/friendly. Delivery of meals not coordinated. Mains at least 20 minutes apart from each person at our table of three persons which resulted in a very disjointed experience.

The staff are friendly and attentive. The service overall was great. Food was fresh and came out reasonably quick, dispite them being very busy on a Saturday night. We were all satisfied with the experience.

Cheap and cheerful, although the food wasn't as good as when I ate here a couple of years ago. Staff were friendly and there's a great gelato shop across the road!

The staff were super attentive and the food was fresh and so tasty. Definitely coming back. There is a new chef and we were able to taste a beef soup that had been cooked for 24 hours, delicious.

The food was excellent as usual. This restaurant used to be a very casual family restaurant with excellent and very cheap food. It has been completely renovated and no longer has that same charm and cosy ambience. Bay Tinh was usually packed out every night but last Sunday, 26 February 2017, it had very few diners. The prices of the dishes have gone up substantially.

Really amazing food, especially the spring rolls and the crispy Vietnamese pancake. Just yum. The steamboat was delicious too, with fresh seafood and tasty broth.

Excellent food, well priced. Mains are very large so can be shared between two (Bonfire in particular). Also, BYO wine was a very welcome benefit. A free meal on your birthday is a nice touch.

Fresh, tasty food, with great service. Parking is a bit hard to find, but well worth the walk. Try the fried snapper with ginger sauce. Yum.

This is a very nice and quiet place and staff very friendly and professional. The quality of cuisine is excellent and very different from what you can expect if you know other Asian cuisines.

Great authentic Vietnamese food in the urban inner city suburb of Marrickville. Caters to different dietary requirements; we had a vegan person and a gluten free person with us who were well looked after. Very attentive wait staff. Highly recommend it.

Great Vietnamese food with friendly staff. Two house specials not to miss: the bonfire and the stuffed boneless chicken. The 333 Vietnamese lager is fine too....

Fast and friendly service. We had bonfire beef and sate chicken, both were excellent. The sate chicken was divine! Food is fresh and light and packed full of flavour. Will definitely be making another trip to Bay Tinh.

Excellent food and service - have been coming here for many years and it never disappoints. The duck salad and salt and pepper squid are delicious!

Poor service. Four of us ordered the banquet but they kept bringing food for two. The desserts were served 4o minutes apart. Very average. We have been there before and it was very good. Very disappointed with our experience.
