Big Poppa's Burgers

The restaurant itself is nice inside but i would not rush back as the food was average and expensive for the portion size, i tried the Cali Chicken Burger and it wasn't that great. To top it off we were charged a surcharge for using a card for payment. Food came out quick and staff were relatively friendly but there are better burger places around.

Waitstaff were wonderful, but tonight the restaurant seemed too busy for kitchen staff. Order took over thirty minutes to come out, entree was neglected and didn't arrive. All meals were cold and quantity significantly reduced from previous visits. Quality of meals was not there tonight. Disappointed. One burger was refunded after talking to staff. Would try again but improvements needed.

Having been to New York, loved the Brooklyn Vibe. The staff were fantastic, customer service levels very high. Staff aware of menu options and offer suggestions with no issue. 9/10

Very accommodating with children. Most staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We will be back to try something else from the menu.

We took our time before eating at Big Poppa's despite the recommendations from many of our friends. Kicking ourselves that we had not been sooner as it is hands down the best burger joint we have been to. The Riff Burger is rich and smokey and the milk buns are simply sensational, will definitely be back.

Slow service despite the place being empty. Average burgers considering the hype . Zero parking. Definitely not worth the trip . We were compensated with some extra fries in our half empty basket.

Great atmosphere, great food. This is the usual experience at Big Poppas definitely recommend to everyone. It's become a weekly tradition for me and my mates!

The only thing stopping you from getting 6/6 was the donut dessert. I feel like the donut needed to be warmed up a little. Other than that, amazing food like always

Ok. Nothing special. Not enough sauce on my Staten Island burger. Onion rings disappointing - looked like frozen ones rather than freshly made. No Biggie music at all, just Top 40 pop. Food & ambience didn't match the name & decor.

Was awesome food and great environment, the staff were very nice and helpful thank you for a great feed and a great night will sure to be back soon

Meals were so delicious & awesome but mostly they were quick to come out to our table! Staff service was perfect! Helped explain menu, what was in in each burger & recommended what we would like!

Best Burgers I've ever had! Hard to believe this amazing American style Burger Bar is in little ol 'Penriff' but it is! Both the food and atmosphere is top notch.

Big Poppa burger was great, would like to see a smaller version with 2 meat patties.

Great restaurant, friendly staff great food and atmosphere. Value for money you are guaranteed not to leave this place hungry or wanting more, that's for sure.

So fast! Friendly staff, who acknowledge you whenever they walk past. Fast service, rivals a lot of drive thrus! And great burgers and chips - just what you want. Hard to fault: even the rap music is forgivable, for the theme 😀

Best burgers out. Great service and very nice people. Will be going there again and be taking me family. The only thing it's a bit pricey

Food was nice enough, but not as good as the first time we dined there. The service was a bit slow but extremely friendly. We were sat outside near the old fountain which seems to double as an unofficial children's playground, and as a couple with a teen this was not ideal.

Burger was burnt, the waitress spoke really fast and would only look down at her tablet. Food was fast coming out but overpriced. There are only stairs leading up which isn't accessible.

The food was great. We didn't have to wait long at all and the staff were fantastic! Can't wait to go back again! Great night

The SPUDDIE was amazing!! Awesome cheese and carb goodness.Hubby had the big Poppa and was nowhere near finishing it. The deep fried twinkies for dessert were yum too, but could have used more strawberries. We'll be back.

The food was a little above average. The mac and chesss was bland though and the waitresses were a bit pushy and rude but it was worth it

Good customer service and good atmosphere but the food was way too greasy which stopped us from finishing the food and feeling a little sick which disappointing.

Great food, great atmosphere, will need to bring the kids next time - They'd have a ball with the colouring books and TV programs catering to them

In all fairness, the service was good, but, was definitely let down by the food, which was also quite over priced for what you get. The burger I recevied was like the size of a Junior Burger at Macca's with one piece of lettuce, pinapple, two small slices of beetroot and cheese sitting alone on a plate for a wopping $14. And it was luke warm at best. Much the same as the soggy cold chips we received as well. I must also add, the kids got a couple of GC shakes (Killer Shakes), wow, totally over priced at $14 each, it was a small chocolate milk shake, with some wipped cream, a doughnut and a little sachet of Nutella on top??? Needless to say, we kinda left with the feeling that we were wripped off.

Fantastic food and staff overall a great experience we highly recommended the milkshakes and burgers you won't need dessert that's for sure .. great location and lots of parking

I found the food to be nice, service was good. Although I found the portion Size on the smaller side, don't mind paying For good food, just think the meat could have filled the burger more and the pickles are tiny!

Can't complain about the food or pricing however the service was terrible. Waited ages for our burgers when the restaurant wasn't busy. Couldn't get more drinks and they were removing our food and handing us the bill when we were still eating. We will go again and hope today they were just having a bad night.

food is absolute fantastic, loved the caramello OG shake although should be renamed death by caramel, loved every mouthful of it, will definitely be back

Had a booking - arrived slightly early and saw plenty of tables available - including one right near the door. Two parties walked in after us and we're greeted and seated immediately. We were finally seated after 15 minutes of waiting. We had ordered straight away, drinks were brought out. Within 10 minutes our food had arrived. Cold. Almost stone cold. The chips, burgers and onion rings were stone cold - so much so that the cheese on the burger hadnt even melted, and the patty was like a rock ! Overall I would not revisit. The staff were stuffy, not kind upon greeting or farewelling. Really disappointing considering the hype !

Unfortunately we didn't have a great first experience despite being super excited. We booked a table outside and were seated inside which was fine, they were extremely busy and it was very hectic so we didn't mind. A waitress took our order and my partner and I left the table briefly to get a drink, we got back and the staff has seated someone else at our table! We'd only been gone for five minutes. At this point we were taken to another rather badly positioned table and offered a free beer but we decided to leave instead. No hard feelings, we will be back and give it another go but I honestly think they need to work on their customer service processes a bit to avoid this in the future!

Food was great but service was slow and our order was taken to the wrong table so we had to wait for our order to be cooked again. Donut on the shake was very dry and stale. Staff were very apologetic but there was no offer of compensation which was disappointing.

Food and service were great!! Serving size is just right and extremely well priced. Was pleasantly surprised at how quickly we received our meals. Only negative was the lack of air conditioning.

No air-conditioning in a restaurant? Not good enough. The chicken on the burger was dry and all the coating fell off. Not a good experience.

Beautiful food, except we were there at dinner opening and the didn't have the cheese for loaded fries or another sauce we asked for. Without the cheese sauce there is two items on their menu they couldn't provide which was disappointing. Everything else was delicious

The food is amazing!! Staff are incredibly helpful and the service was quick. Compliments to the Chef the chicken was cooked perfectly and the coating on the chicken is to die for. Will definitely be back soon.
