Bombay by Night

My family and I enjoyed our food. It was tasty and was served promptly. The curry dishes were a quite spicy but very delicious. Reasonable prices too. We would visit again.

Excellent food and service especially the Samosas which are not shown on the menu! Also, great that it is BYO wine. Highly recommended for a visit or 2 or 3..

This restaurant has great food, great service and good atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the night out with family, we have dined there before and will do so again.

Great food attentive and knowledgeable service. Unassuming shop front on North road. Worth a visit will be back very soon for the great service and food.

Nice little local. Good service too. BYO is a bonus. Good choice on the menu from mild to spicy. Portions are generous and we just lived the naans.

Had to ask for water glasses to be refilled on a regular basis. Apart from that, food and service was quite good. etc etc etc

If you love fine dining, this is the place to be. If you love Indian food, this is one of the best places to experience the best. If you don'ft like Indian food, try this restaurant. It's superb.

overall a lovely experience - the night was very good food as always is excellent - tried the lamb vindaloo and this was hot but not too hot - spicy and interesting great atmosphere, was quite busy but not imposing, just a good cosy restaurant

Friendly efficient staff. Delicious food - lots of lovely delicate flavors. Sauces seemed lighter than a lot of Indian cuisine. Modern decor. Great experience. Will definitely go back.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service by attentive and polite waiting staff! We sat at the window table - lovely ambience, elegant restaurant with crisp white table cloths. Lovely night!!

Food was delicious ! Samosas , chicken tikka entree were outstanding . Lamb / spinach curry was beautiful as was the prawn curry . Definitely will go back

The food was very good, tasted authentic and different from the 'normal' indian restaurants (we reccomend the butter chicken and the stuffed Nan, delicious!) the restaurant is neat and tidy, tables are well dressed and presented and the staff was very polite.

Food very nice, good service They were a bit slow with the water initially, but besides that everything was good staff were friendly and talkative

Always fantastic,Delicious Indian food.... beautiful setting,great service,always fresh. Highly recommend it for families or friends. Food is very aromatic and bursting with beautiful spices. We have been many times and it is always consistent with the high standard it sets time after time. You will love it!

I arrived first. The first of 3 diners. I was looked after really well, as were the other two diners when they arrived. Entrees were really good. Curries were watery. Service was excellent. Would definitely revisit

Had a lovely night at Bombay by Night! I am not a big fan of Indian food as I find it too heavy but really enjoyed my meal.....Excellent food and good service. We will definitely be returning!

great service, excellent food. You do pay for what you get, however, so not the place for a quick, cheap outing. We will definitely go again

Absolutely loved it. We had the window table, the service was great and the food spectacular. I would definitely go again. So many great dishes. Butter chicken was yum.

We had excellent service and the food was first class. Have been to other Indian restaurants and must say this is one of the best, if not the best that we have experienced when eating out. Thank you very much

For a group of 4: Entrees were all good - potato croquettes, onion bhajia, gobi pokora and bombay chicken tikka; for mains, the lamb rogan josh and alu gobi were very good, tandoori chicken was also good, but wasn't too excited by the fish curry with tamarind. Very good service and the dining room was clean and unclutterred. A good night out; would recommend it. GLF

The best Indian food we have had in a very long time, also love the restaurant and staff were very attentive. You certainly won't be disappointed 👍

Service wasn't the best but food is tasty. Some ice in a bucket wasn't available to keep our champagne by our table, which was disappointing.

Good but food was "Australianised", doubt it was authentic and not asked how hot we wanted food. Next time I will TELL waiter how hot I want the food to be.

Great, as always! My favourite Induan restaurant in Melb. Lamb and prawn dishes were fantastic, naan bread the best. Great ambience and service - nice
