Was a lovely evening, temperature wise, & i had phoned day before to ask if we could sit outside. Yes, they said, we will make a note of that. When we got there they would not let us sit outside, even though there were plenty of unreserved tables there. We insisted repeatedly, until finally they let us sit out there. They did not seem happy! They insisted that the booking was for inside only!! Apart from that fracais, all was good, food was lovely. 😊

We have been here a number of times, food and atmosphere was very nice.

Food was good and the serve on the seafood platter was huge. Minor issue was asked for a break between entree and main but main came before entree finished and then they took our unfinished entree away! We would have bought another drink each. However, still enjoyed lunch and will be back.

Reason I gave 5 for the service and waiting times, was the employer didn't realise I had asked for avocado bruschetta, and i waited 20 minutes and then had to ask, and had to order it again, but the lady was lovely and apologetic, and we all make mistakes, the food was amazing!

How can you accept my request for a table at a restaurant, approve it, send me an email to confirm it, AND, after we have made a special trip to the city to have our meal, WE FIND THAT PELLEGRINIS WAS NOT OPEN ON GOOD FRIDAY

The food was amazing. We had gourmet pizza and the risotto marinara. The only criticism we had is that they offer no non-alcoholic beer or wine. These days, a quality place like this really needs to offer at least one non-alcoholic beer and a couple of wine options.

The portions are large and delicious. The staff are lovely and service is fast.

Staff at counter keyed in an order wrongly despite us pointing the item on the menu as we ordered. Had to correct them. Told them that we booked using Quandoo but not sure if they did anything to record our arrival with Quandoo.

Food undercooked and staff argumentive! They weren’t aware of the quando booking, denying they had a booking until I showed the quando booking email confirmation, they hastily threw two tables together. The poached eggs on Three of the five meals were undercooked. The whites were runny and not cooked which can contain salmonella bacteria. When the server was informed the eggs were not correctly cooked, she argued the fact with us and went away to inform the her manager. They both returned to our table and also argued the fact with us, stating that it hard to keep the yolks soft and ensure the whites are cooked, however, my sister cooks poached eggs all the time and has no problem in achieving the perfect egg at 2-4 minutes. Our meals were finally returned to us more than 5 minutes later, all the the eggs were this time over cooked, the bacon also overcooked and the toast almost cold. By this time we no longer enjoying our Sunday birthday brunch as two members had to eat their meals to ensure they didn’t go cold. Do not recommend eating here! Will NEVER return for another meal!

A mate, Litho Kransky and I caught up for lunch on 21/6/20. Haven't been to this Cafe for a number of years and was impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. Fresh ingredients and could not fault the presentation. Very professional and friendly staff as well. Highly recommended. 👍👍👍👌

A lovely cool spot on a very hot summer's day. The staff were excellent and we appreciated being able to split our bill with no fuss at all.

The mixed grill was delicious and great value for money. Gotta try the lemon curd cheesecake - it was amazing!
