Caravanserai Turkish Restaurant

Perhaps the best Turkish food I've ever tried in Australia. Certainly the restaurant itself is lovely, & in a great position; the back verandah has a great view over a small tree filled gully & is quieter than the main restaurant.

Food was fabulous as always. Nice simple menu. Service was friendly and waited little time considering the place was packed at 8pm on a Saturday.

Would be nice if there was some Turkish background music. Food a bit expensive but good service. My wife loved it. Good vege choices. Try it out.

Great food. Very tasty and beautifully presented. Atmosphere is lovely although a bit noisy but that is because so many people were obviously having a great night. The quality of this restaurant is testament to the years this great place has been around. I think I first visited in the early 90's.

Great ambiance. Good food- I'd definitely recommend the platters to share. Wish they had more drinks though. I'm told that the baklava is really good but was too full to try!

We had a great time. Food was excellent as was the service and the price was fantastic. Our table had a great time and we will be back. (This was our second visit already).

Lovely food, however the hot, squashed in atmosphere, complete with drunk, vocal women made for a quick dinner. Next time, we will try and book for an outside table.

Hadn't been here for years and much the same, very busy and tasty food. Pleasant staff. Downside is that it becomes very noisy as the place fills up and it is hard to hear each other!!

Banquet was great, good service, but wanted a more quiet venue to chat with friends. Central table near kitchen not best option for what we needed

Was a very warm inside but the food was great, they where very helpful with our drinks and our birthday cake, will be back soon

The service is outstanding with friendly, attentive staff. The food is delicious with good sized servings. The fig mousse is a must for dessert, so be sure to leave room

Fast, friendly service, great atmosphere, and we both found our meals delicious. For quality Turkish cuisine, we can't recommend Caravanserai enough. We will certainly be back as soon as possible.

We were firstly greeted by great staff members who made the experience comfortable and fun. The atmosphere was beautiful that can be enjoyed by either a couple wanting a romantic evening or a group of friends and family to meet and share good food and a good time. The food was fantastic and we will definitely be going back

One of my favourite restaurants ever. Amazing space, perfect meals, enthusiastic staff. It was a very busy night we went but they coped well under pressure. Everything tastes incredible every time we go, and the Turkish delight is to die for. Definitely worth the experience.

A group of 8 friends went here for lunch on Saturday. It was the first time for most of us going here and we will be back. The service was wonderful and the food delicious. It was a hot day and our table was thankfully under the fan. We went with the banquet and loved everything that was provided. We had a mix of meat eaters and vegetarians and there was something for everyone. The vegetarian meze was fresh and tasty, the mains flavourful and divine. To top it off the baklava and Turkish delight was perfect and not too sweet. Our waiter was liberal with the ice cold water and brought out more without asked. The Turkish lemonade is a must have and he was kind enough to bring out two jugfuls when only two of us ordered it given the heat. Thank you for a wonderful experience and keep up the terrific work. I'll be recommending you as a must try.

Food was delicious, service could have been a little better but the place was full. Serving size a on the smaller size. I would go back.

Very efficient and very attentive staff and the food was delish. Would recommend we tried the Platter for 2, portions very generous. We loved the Turkish Lemonade, the dessert we tried was Sticky Fig and Macadamia pudding with butterscotch sauce...divine.

We had the share plater for 2. My favorite was the meat. Very tender and flavoursome. We will definitely be back. Next time with so.e friends to try one of the banquets. Really good service and the prices are very resonable.

Amazing food, loved it! Would definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys and good meal at a quaint and comfortable ambiance. And don't forget to try the desserts!

Caravanserai was excellent as usual - wonderfully balanced and perfectly prepared. The banquet is my recommendation - you get to try a bit of everything and is very well portioned. Will always come back :)

Fabulous food, had the share platter which was very tasty. Fell into the trap of eyes bigger than belly. Should have shared a desert instead of one each. Will be back again

We booked at Caravanserai Turkish restaurant for new years eve celebration. The food was simply amazing, and staffs were very kind and helpful. Will visit the place again. Highly recommend.

Food was great! Main eating area a little noisy. Would recommend requesting rear deck for the Romantics. Table service was average. Was not advised of Deserts / Coffee available after the meal. Table clearing was a bit slow.

Beautiful ambience, lovely staff and delicious food. Very quick service and food brought out. All meats deliciously tender. The breeze in the verandah was delightful (may need a cardi at times). Perfect for a romantic dinner (& group of friends). Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

The food is consistently good. Wonderful service and a good atmosphere. Good vegetarian options. Restaurant has lovely Turkish decor. Tried Arabic coffee for the first time-Yum!!!

Excellent food, we certainly enjoyed the banquet for four! The variety of food was great and the service was quick and efficient. Love that Turkish coffee with the Turkish delight and backlava....

Hadn't eaten this cuisine style before but very impressed with the freshness of the ingredients and menu options. Overall, great experience, excellent meal with fabulous flavours. Nice people too.

It was very crowded being just at the start of the Christmas party season but the service was friendly and efficient without being intrusive. The food was great with some nice twists on Turkish cuisine. Parking in the area is a bit difficult but overall a really happy dining experience

Took my son there for his birthday. Just mentioned his name in passing to waitress before he arrived, after arriving and settling in, waitress walks up to our table and wishes him happy birthday and used his name!! Well done!! These are the little differences that makes our experiences personal and memorable. The service was great and food was also very good, we all had a great time. Thankyou

As always welcoming, with tasty food and plenty of it. There mussels are the best! Relaxed atmosphere, good service. Didnt try dessert as the meals were filling but the baklava looked delicious.

This place has great customer service despite being busy. However, whilst the food is better than average, it's limited by the limited range of menu options

We had a great night without it costing us the earth. Warm inside, nice atmosphere, efficient staff and BYO means next time we are looking for a restaurant Caravanserai will be high on the list. It was a bit noisy but we didn't mind that at all.

it is always great at caravanserai, the food and the service! I eat there semi regularly and I it is always consistent and always good no matter what I order.

Delicious food - had the banquet for 7 people and it was perfect portions. Service was great and the restaurant is cosy and cutely decorated.

We had an entree between the four of us, and then three different main courses. We all found the food delicious. The waiters were efficient and cheerful.

Delicious food, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. For me, the best place to sit is out on the back veranda (nice and intimate). Will continue to go back!
