A casual dining experience at outdoor tables. Several restaurants have tables in the same outdoor area, and the atmosphere was cheerful and relaxed, people having a good time. No alcohol served but you can BYO, corkage $4 per person. Food was freshly cooked and very nice indeed, and it came surprisingly quickly. It wasn't a cheap meal, however the servings were really large. We accidentally ordered too much food and took quite a bit away with us. We were visiting Sydney from interstate - I'd be happy to go back to Chinatown Sizzling House if staying in the same district another time.

Turned a corner and was surprised to find a vibrant outdoor eating area, the street atmosphere was fabulous. We were greeted immediately by the owner, seated and served in minutes. The food was excellent, the vibe, the location. We will be back next week.

Travelling from the Gold Coast on holiday and Stumbled along this place on an afternoon stroll, we returned for dinner and so glad we did - Little hidden gem. Outside it doesn’t look like a big deal but once the food arrives you know it’s good! Honey chicken, sizzling Mongolian beef, hokkien noodle, fried rice - all delicious and so fresh Thank you

Awesome and authentic open-side Chinese in Haymarket, Sydney. Kind of an open secret. Can recommend the eggplant dumplings and the bbq pork - yum!
