Style as well as substance can be found at East of Norman, a wonderful and contemporary Australian restaurant in Adelaide. Right in the heart of the city, East of Norman has you covered whether you’re hungry for breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks. The main food menu is laced with quality and fresh produce, so from midday, everyday, you can enjoy vibrant salads, gourmet burgers, platters, plates and pizzas. Our favourite of the pizzas and one of the most original you’re likely to find in all of Adelaide would have to be that which is topped with confit duck leg, mango, cherry tomato, cashews, rocket and plum BBQ sauce. Oh, and it’s available with a gluten-free base (just like all the pizzas).
Good food and service. An enjoyable evening all round. Will definitely recommend to others and will be back. Could get a little noisy would be the only downside.
On a hot day the air conditioning was very average. Further the meal I had (Barra salad) was pretty basic- a bit of lettuce, tomatoes and a small piece of barramundi added on top. Lacked any real flavour and definitely not worth the $22 it cost. Overall the experiment was very disappointing. I would not recommend it for lunch.
As always the food and service were awesome. Love it here.
