Love this place. Had the porcini gourmet pizza, a glass of chianti and the broccolini pizza. Absolutely delicious!

We were warmly welcomed and a table reserved where the fact that I use a wheelchair would not impose on other diners. Menu excellent, Service excellent!

My friend and I had the capriciosca and the porcini pizza with Italian sausage- absolutely delightful. The polenta chips were great, as was the chianti and the berry cheesecake

Delectable, delightful, and delicious! The porcini pizza is always a must-have but this time I had company so our table also added on the polenta chips (with creamy cauliflower dipping sauce!) and the Nutella heaven (don't ask, just order! No regrets, guaranteed). Can't wait for the next outing at Ferdinand!

I had the porcini pizza- the combination of the mushrooms with gorgonzola cheese and truffle oil was a delectably melt in your mouth experience. I polished it off with a glass of chianti and a Ferdinand's signature tiramisu. Absolutely delightful! 🙂

Had a pre-lockdown dinner at Ferdinand for my last night of dining freedom! Had the porcini pizza, a glass of chianti, a glass of abruzzo, the polenta chips (entree), and Ferdinand's home-made tiramisu. All winners and all delicious. Can't wait until lockdown is over so that I can dine there again. I'll be getting takeaway in the meantime! 🙂

Always a good time at Northcote's finest Italian restaurant. Authentic, delectable, and great value for money

What can I say? It's always a delight dining at Ferdinand in Northcote. Definitely Melbourne's best and most authentic Italian cuisine time and time again. My friend and I shared the polenta chips (definitely a must-try), the porcini pizza (an absolute favourite!), and the sotto bosco, a delicious vegetarian pizza that was made even more delicious with Ferdinand's mouth-watering truffle oil! Finished the meal with their signature tiramisu all the while sipping on a fragrant and rich tasting chianti 🍷 Can't wait until my next visit!

Restaurant was more then happy to accomodate us, including our wheelchair-bound friend. Food was excellent and staff/owner were very friendly and helpful - and the Banter was a bonus!

The food was fantastic. Very authentic and the perfect touch of Italian cuisine right in the heart of Northcote. Definitely coming back soon!

Always a great experience dining at Ferdinand. Was a last minute booking and they fit me in with less than an hour's notice as I dragged my friend from the other side of town over to Northcote to experience the best pizza this side of the Yarra has to offer. Siandor, Francesco and the team are always a delight 🙂

Nice food, friendly staff and great atmosphere. We weren’t pressured to leave after a certain time which I loved.

It'll be nice when in starts to get busier again as that impacts the atmosphere but it meant that the waiting time on food was non-existent! We love Ferdinand and will keep coming back

Although you could tell they use good quality ingredients, the pizzas were a little dry and the salad needed more dressing...good service by staff and ambiance quite good...

Ferdinand never fails to serve up the best Italian dining experience in Northcote. It doesn't matter if the restaurant is at capacity or if it's just opening for the evening, the service is always speedy and friendly. Scrumptious pizza and a great selection of wine too. And for dessert, the apple and rhubarb panna cotta is a must-try!
