The staff were friendly and service was prompt. Plenty of choices on the menu. We all enjoyed our meals - the food was fantastic. Recommended, we will be back.

Food was great. Service was a bit slow. When the waitresses did come over they were very pleasant. I look forward to my next visit

Very poor. Only 1 waitress to serve a lunch period, she was frazzled and run off her feet. Dined with a friend who had a 45min lunch break and her lunch came out 15 mins AFTER her lunch break ended... mine on the other hand came out 10 mins AFTER hers and was wrong completely. It’s a shame as the restaurant is in a prime location, and should be doing very well considering the business located in the area.

We had lunch here on a quiet Monday afternoon. The service was great- we were able to choose a table overlooking the creek and the waitress was friendly and polite. My husband had the special which was pulled beef brisket burger which looked great and he said was very tasty. After much deliberation I chose the pumpkin gnocchi which was absolutely delicious. The food was piping hot which is really important to me. Overall, great value for money with tasty food in a clean and well set restaurant. Would definitely visit again in the future.

Service was good. Steak good although a few more vegetables would have made it perfect. The swordfish special was ok, the salad included not up to expectations. Value for money And breakfast is very good.

I rate this restaurant a 7 Great location service was great . Great choice on the menu will be pumping at summer time . With a nice stroll along the beach afterwards.

Amazing food and amazing service my partner had the seafood paella which was amazing and I had the coconut curry best curry I’ve had in a long time will be back

the waitress was lovely. the seafood linguine unfortunately the first mussell i tasted was off so i dared not eat any more, the dessert was burned tho the waitress took that off the bill, she was very nice.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food! My husband and I were celebrating our 18th anniversary and we really enjoyed this restaurant. We will definitely be coming back for dinner again soon!

We’ve been for dinner and now breakfast. Both times were exceptional in service and food. The menu is varied. Will return for lunch next time.

Staff very friendly and attentive. They sang happy birthday to my wife when delivering the cakes whick was nice. Food good quality for the price.

The restuarant was neat and tidy with an inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly but there was no one to greet us immediately as we entered so we had to wait awkwardly until a waiter had finished taking an order before getting seated. The food was pretty good and well priced. Our order arrived in a good amount of time. I will go back one day.

Atmosphere was nice. Ran out of cider and one of the mains on the specials menu. Would have been nice to be told this up front before offering. It was a quiet Wed night. Other than that parma was nice and has lime and coconut cheescake. Was yum but lime gel was a bit too strong!

The food was great. Service was a bit slow. Our order got forgotten they came and apologized. They gave us both complimentary drink. This would not stop us going again.

Waited 70 mins for the food to be served. I can’t imagine how this is acceptable provided that this is small sized restaurant and there was only one chef operating. The quality of food was below average, but they were overpriced.

Our party of 4 thoroughly enjoyed the flounder and lamb dishes. Both perfectly cooked and served with generous ,good quality individual salads. The drinks both wine and beers were very reasonably priced. We will return and hope to dine outside where it is probably quieter. Patrons were all enthusiastically enjoying themselves and their meals. Our main waiter was of Dutch heritage. He was a most enthusiastic waiter with a great manner and work ethic. Best wishes to this new restaurant.

Wonderful atmosphere with great service and food. Would be great on a sunny Melbourne day overlooking the best bay in Australia. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking value for money

Great restaurant and the coffee was so good! I had a veggie burger and it was delicious. We will definitely be back, lovely place to catch up with family.

The food and service were good. The menu was extensive and catered to everybody's tastes. We had one Gluten Free diner who was pleasantly surprised at the choices she had.

Service was pretty ordinary and the food was really just average it seemed like it was missing something. We won’t be going back. Was expecting better value for money.

This is a great restaurant, have been a number of times now. Was little disappointed no salad came with the seafood boat though , I do not like paying for sides when the meal is $26.00 already .

Food was great, service needs some attention. Seemed overwhelmed with only about a third of the seating. Appeared to be no management. Servers didn't seem to know what to do. Simple requests went begging; 5 water glasses for 5 pax, extra napkins for kids when asked. Booked table days in advance and even though lots of spare tables, placed by the toilet door?? Not impressed!! Overall good, but needs work!!

The food was nice but the service really needs to be worked on. We got there about 8pm and our drinks orders were done about 10 minutes after that, then our meal orders were done about 5 minutes after that. Unfortunately though it wasn't until a little after 9pm before we got our meals meaning all up it took a hour to have dinner.

Great food, excellent service, lovely environment. We took my dad to dinner for his 75th birthday and the staff went above and beyond in making sure that we were well taken care of - on very short notice - arranging a stunning cake for him and coming out to sing happy birthday. Would recommend. If I have one complaint it is that the prawns in my meal hadn't been deveined (ew) and their wine selection could use some refining to ensure that every wine on offer is of quality. I had a Pinot Grigio which wasn't great.

As a local and first time customer of The Waterfront I had high hopes of the restaurant. The food was quite pleasant however the service was unfortunately very disappointing. On three seperate occasions we were bought items we hadn’t ordered, had a dip platter to share with no side plates, had to flag down a waitress for a dessert menu after sitting waiting for 20 minutes and served tea’s in cups filled to the brim without teapots. I hope it’s teething problems with new wait staff but won’t be returning without other positive reviews from others.

Love this restaurant. The food is fantastic and the service is excellent. Its lovely looking out on the river, nice and relaxing. I recommend this restaurant highly

Food and service was excellent! We were expected, shown to our table and given water on arrival. Staff were friendly and meals arrived quickly. We will be back.
