While there are seven Fratelli Fresh restaurants in Sydney, refrain from thinking that they’re all the same. In fact, they’re all unique from one another in plenty of ways and this restaurant, Fratelli Fresh Macquarie Street in the CBD, is the sultriest, most intriguing of them all. The dining space, as we said, is dark and mysterious with jade leather, exposed brick and dim lighting. It’s wonderfully atmospheric and makes an ideal spot for lunch, dinner or drinks. The large bar area serves Italian wines, freshly shaken and stirred cocktails and a range of imported Italian beers. After-work drinks in Sydney CBD? Check.

If you’re eating at Fratelli Fresh Macquarie Street then the menu is worth getting excited about. Begin, perhaps, with one or two selections from the tempting antipasti list and then move onto an indulgent pasta dish or a Fratelli Fresh signature pizza. An unusual one we’d certainly recommend arrives at your table topped with zucchini, goat curd, smoked scamorza, basil, oven roasted tomatoes and chilli flakes, all atop a white base. Sound good?
