Beautiful warm atmosphere, amazing food and the service was perfect, one of the best experiences in Hahndorf

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous meal at Gepettos. The food was amazing, staff fantastic and made my Husband’s birthday dinner superb 👏👏👏👏

We could not get a coffee but everything else was great. Lots of lovely people around us so the noise level was slightly higher than what we would have liked.

Atmosphere is great and the food never disappoints. Excellent service. One of my favourite restaurants in the hills. If you haven't dined there before you really should. 10 out of 10 again.

Great place with friendly staff and music. The food was amazing.

The pizza was okay, didn’t have any mushrooms or olives as described on the menu however. The service lacked and wasn’t approached until around 10 minutes after being seated so ended up getting the menu off the website. The rosemary potatoes seemed microwaved as quite floppy and lacked flavour. When questioned to the waiter about it. He simply responded. “That they couldn’t do much about it.” I also ordered a vodka drink and the vodka tasted “off” so I’m not sure what happened there either. Overall I have heard some really good reviews about them but maybe I came on a bad night. Very disappointed as I have wanted to come and dine for a long time here!

It was our first visit. Really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the food was very good. Only criticism is that we were seated directly under the menu (it is on the wall) making it difficult to see without having to stand up and for the price of the food, which wasn’t cheap I would have expected a hand held menu. Otherwise the restaurant was easy to find very welcoming and the serving sizes excellent. Overall a good dining experience.

Every meal was served in good time, great portions and cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and professional.

We had a fantastic dining experience at Gepettos tonight. The restaurant was warm and the staff were attentive and welcoming. But now let's get to the food. I ordered the lamb shanks and mash which was mouthwatering and just fell off the bone. My husband was equally as happy with his porcini mushroom risotto. Finished off with a great coffee. Highly recommend Gepettos if you love hearty tasty italian food.
