Ginza Teppanyaki

Highly recommend trying this place, such a great experience and the value for money is second to none! Food was absolutely delicious will be going back at any opportunity

The food was excellent and good value two of us had menu 3 and 2 had menu 4. We have visited before but took a couple of our friends from interstate who loved the food. The theatre was very different and they had not experienced this before nor had they had Japanese food before. They loved it. Thank you Ginza. Regards Iona

It was an enjoyable and different experience. Friendly staff and the steak was amazingly tender. Rice could be a little more flavoursome. Great fun though. Will visit again for dinner next time..

Great experience for a birthday suprise. Staff friendly and food great. Had looks of fun with the plates and food. Not all of us were goo catches which made it funnier.

Fantastic experience!! I will definitely be back. Pur chef was great, kept us entertained and the food was just amazing. As for the waitresses, they ensured out plates were cleared immediately and we did not have to lift a finger.

We went here for my 14 year old sons birthday. It was great fun for all the family and the food was delicious I would highly recommend.

End of year celebration. We had the $49 set for two adults and two children. Plenty of food. Steak tender and prawns huge, all delicious. Theatre was great, kids enjoyed the flames and trying to catch the egg! Excellent, friendly chef, however, would have liked to have seen more knife work. Highly recommend.

Had dinner at Ginza with a party of 9 for a birthday. Lots of laughs with food games for guests and the birthday boy throughout dinner. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Excellent value, great night was had by all.

Food was good. Chef was not very friendly. Our group would have enjoyed a bit more interaction and discussion around the cooking. Food was a bit expensive.

Great food, great experience. Such a good night out, whether your group is big or small. Drinks are overpriced though! Better off going to a bar close by for a drink after :)

Food was delicious, a fun experience. Only wish our chef was a little more animated but otherwise great. Excellent service, the waitresses were very attentive also

Went there for lunch. Lunch set was quite reasonably priced. Reasonable amount for the price. Quality is quite decent. Green tea was way overpriced ($5.50 per head, ended up not ordering any). "Entertainment" was almost non-existent, except for the "fire show". We'll still return though, since the food was quite alright.

Chef was not looking happy. Food was marginal. Chef had to take away food off my plate becos it was the wrong order. Didnt like how my 'bib' was marked with numbers as per our order. Very barbaric.

We love, love, love this place! We have been going to Ginza Teppanyaki for years. It has become a family tradition. The food is amazing, the experience is theatrical and the atmosphere is warm and generous.

The chef was fantastic, a little hard to understand but that just added to the experience. The 'show' was heaps of fun. Great food, great vibe, great experience.

Not authentic Japanese teppanyaki, games played by the chef with customers ended up with a lot of food wastage, food quality very so so, not worth the money paid. Overall very disappointing experience

We had Phil as our chef and he was fantastic the kids loved him!! Was incredibly enjoyable can't wait to go again! Staff very friendly.... Only down point was our special fried rice did not have much in it so it didn't have much taste and was cold. Also had to remind staff of drink orders. Other then that great place...

We ordered from a set menu but the miso soup was not served, however we had to pay for it. We came with the kids but didn't had a show as was promised. Not happy

The food was delicious. We really enjoyed watching dinner being cooked right in front of us. The additional entertainment from our chef was brilliant. We will be back.

Service was great, food was fabulous and this is our third time there. We will go back again. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The noisy bit is the fun bit when the games are happening.

A family friendly atmosphere and the was food plentiful and very tasty. An enjoyable experience and we would most certainly go again. Kids thought it was great.

Food ok service average. Party games flicking food and tossing bowls not what we were looking for. Perhaps they should concentrate on the food quality more.

Lunch was great, lots of fun for the kids and prices were very reasonable. We had a choice of a number of set teppanyaki meals to suit all budgets and the food was fresh and yummy. Not a fancy place, but neither were we looking for one, but simple and delicious food.

It was my husbands 50th and daughters 13th and they made a special effort for them. Decorated their bibs, sang, took a family photo, we're happy to do the cake with sparklers I had brought. Thank you to the lovely staff. And the food was great too, and a bit of fun thrown in with egg throwing and bowl catching.

We had a great night at Ginza Teppanyaki. We celebrated a 22nd birthday and the birthday girl was adequately made the centre of attention with a birthday bib and food catching challenges (but not over the top). It was fun and we laughed a lot. It was a lovely touch for the birthday girl to be given a photo of our group at the end of the night. The Chef was great fun and the food was delicious. Will definitely go back.

A little too much like a factory line. They've been doing this for a long time and looked a little bored with it. Don't get me wrong, it's nice food bur perhaps not the value for money i used to get. $100 all inclusive a head should be better.

Wrote seafood allergy on the bib. Then watched them cook the prawns with the rest of the meal. Left hungry and ate somewhere else. Staff were friendly.
