If you are in Melbourne and want to treat yourself to the most amazing japanese food , this is the place. nice environment , friendly stuff, Amazing food and wonderful desserts.

Great food great entertainment. We ordered set 1 and the highlight was the beef. The chef was kind and gave us great entertainment. We will come back

Nice athmosphere, excellent food especially beef & shashimi, entertaining cooks and fun during the meal, the waitresses were paying attention on us all the time

Lovely food, great entertainment particularly for the kids, food was reasonably priced but would have been lovely to have a small dessert included. the only negative was feeling slightly rushed..

The food was excellent... portions were just the right size. Our wait for a table was acceptable... we were settled at the main table and our drinks came straight away. The experience was tasty and entertaining.

Dinner was good but not as tasty as previous. Waitresses had to be asked multiple times for drinks. No coat hanging facilities given even after asking

We had a long wait for desert and then they were frozen in the middle. Other than that great experience. Food was amazing we had menus 2, 4 and 1

The food was very good service was excellent the chef was very entertaining the kids loved the games food was flying everywhere and there was lost of laughter. I highly recommend the experience.

Fun experience. Took my 8yo son who enjoyed it although he got a bowl in the head during the bowl catching session. A lollipop and ice pack helped tho.

The food was nice. The service was terrible to say the least. The chef wasn't overly entertaining and did not interact that much. He did the minimum required. The moment he finished cooking the waitress asked us to leave the table while we were still eating so they could get it ready for the next lot of people. Our kids had to scoff down their food as we were pressured to leave. I would have thought we would have 10 or 15 minutes at least to finish eating. Once we were thrown out the back to finish our drinks there was no more service at all. They did not want to know us. Couldn't get another drink for the kids and couldn't even get the bill. We have been to Japanese Teppanyaki Inn on Collins Street previously which was far better than Ginza. I would recommend giving this one a miss and looking elsewhere.

Lots of laughs and great food :) The chef was professional and funny - the staff were very attentive and we will definitely go back again.

Restaurant needs an upgrade. Very tired. Quite $$$ for what you get. However food was quality. Probably not suitable for a family on a budget.

Had to wait until everyone arrived to be seated, which seemed unnecessary. Some of the food was good - prawns, steak. However the expected 'theatre' was not as good as expected. Chef said they had toned down some of the antics one usually expects in a teppanyaki as they were making too much mess - which is why we were taking the kids there!

Beautiful food and lots of it. Amazing quality. A lot of fun too if you are up for a bit of food catching! Great time.

Have been going for years, probably wont be back they have changed freshness and quaility for fast cheapness, yet kept high prices for good food

Restaurant was very accommodating, staff were great, the food was delicious but just not enough for mine. Fun food games and a great atmosphere.Overall a very good restaurant experience.

A very enjoyable experience, the staff were very helpful with the menu and drinks. We were a group of 6 persons,and thought we had to choose the same set menu, however one of us did ask, and were advised you could all choose a different set menu. It would probably be a good idea to advise patrons at the beginning of this option. Apart from that I will return and advise others to enjoy a great experience.

Great food, great atmosphere and great fun. Definitely recommend to anyone who would like to have a lunch or dinner with a nice environment and food that you will love!!!

This place is fantastic. We have made it a yearly tradition to come for dinner for our child's birthday. The food is excellent as is the service and we always have loads of fun.

The food was amazing and we got a little show! I can recommend this place! But you have to book a table before you go there.

Food was great, service was crap and we were rushed through. We were there less than an hour! Not happy about being rushed through when in the past we have had a lovely time. Last 2 times our chef was interactive and fun we didn't see that last night

I'd only go back if invited. There are better tepenyakirestaurants around. For me, it was cery hot inside, the chef was unenthusiastic, the food was good but nothing exceptional, and I felt tge service was rushed.

I love Ginza Teppanyaki. A great atmosphere, great food and all round a very enjoyable night. The service is excellent. The only thing is that for some of the set menus - they are quite expensive.

The food was well prepared however the chef didn't interact with as at all - did set routine and that was it.- when mentioned to the ownwer he seemed unconcerned. rinks were also slow Had to ask for our second round three times

We had a great night out, taking my children to their first teppanyaki experience, staff were very accommodating with dietary requirements. Reasonable prices and Highly recommended

Excellent as always. An enjoyable night every time we go either with Family or Friends, Great staff and atmosphere and the food is always delicious

It was good. Not great, but good. The food was all quite overcooked and it was very expensive for what we got. $20 extra for the wagyu was absolutely not worth the cost either, the steak was dry and sinewy. The night was saved by the food games though which were fun and entertaining, it's just a shame that the chef barely acknowledged our existence up until then.

It was really nice place and we had enjoy the night. Everyone is so friendly and provide good services. We will go back for sure.

Excellent evening. Great Teppanyaki show, engaging all in our group. Food was very very good. However, sometimes getting drinks was a bit slow in the beginning. I liked the separate area which allowed us to stay on for drinks and dessert after the main meal.

The food was absolutely delicious and enjoyable to watch as the chefs really knew what they were doing and accomodate well for all different people with different requirements and packages.The staff were lovely, we all had a great time!
