We arrived early so not much waiting for our meals. However once the place filled up, our coffee and Tea took some time to arrive. The meals were lovely and our waiter also lovely

our meal and service was great only negative a large group let their little children run riot parents to busy drinking the poor wait staff had to be care full not to trip over or drop dishes on them credit to them for not losing their cool

We have been to the restaurant several times usually during daytime hours and for some reason parents decided to bring kids that didn,t stop from running around making our visit short

Beautiful day catching up with family. Our meals were lovely, very little waiting time (the room was packed) the staff very pleasant and helpful. Was there almost at least 2 1/2 hours and never once felt they were waiting for us to leave. Will definitely make return visits and recommend to others

It was Sunday of long weekend so a longer wait then usual but still okay time frame.

A really nice venue on near the banks of Lake Macquarie. The food was great! Everybody on my table was happy with their meals, and the service. The buffalo chicken burger was phenomenal. Would definitely eat here again! Highly recommended!!!

When I ask for a dish the way I would like and be told that will be ok was great and then receive totally different I'm not very impressed.

Food was great! - all 12 were happy but we were unaware when booking there were 2 x sitting times. Unaware there would be someone singing, which I enjoyed but elderly people with us had trouble with the noise. We passed angry customers on arrival as they were unaware of sitting times and had been asked to leave. Luckily we had the later sitting and didn't face that problem. There was nothing on their website to suggest any of the above wa s occurring. Food for thought regarding next year.

Enjoy dining at the Gunyah, have been numerous times for either lunch or dinner. The lighting is not the best at night, we were seated near the window not under a direct light and it was quite dark,

We were four friends of a mature age. Enjoyed a lovely lunch.

Friendly staff. Really quick service and beautiful meal. My scotch fillet steak was melt in the mouth.

We went for Mothers Day dinner food and service was fabulous. it was a wee bit too dark. Need just a little more light in the restaurant.
