Food always fabulous, restaurant busy but service still prompt. Close to home

The 5 of us had fish 1 salmon 3 barramundi. Fish was bery dry and tasteless

Chef did the whole arrogant “not making changes thing” cause he didn’t want to put a garlic prawn sauce on chips for my son (who is autistic and even he could tell the chef was been a dick). We were super polite about it yet could hear him mouthing off in the kitchen. When the food came out, my rare steak was nearly well done, veggies were cold, wife’s pasta was in clumps stuck together. Maybe if chef is gonna be one of those arrogant twots, should make sure they can cook well enough to back it up first.

Loved the food, the restaurant had a really great atmosphere.

Have been to Gunyah many times and always have been very very happy with the meals. It was just a little disappointing today they have changed the seafood mixed grill. There is nowhere the combination of seafood as many of the previous visits. Makes me think I might try somewhere else but would still recommend the Gunyah!

I had to wait for quiet a while to be seated even though I booked, the food was cold and taste like the salad had been sitting in creek water. it was terrible. It was so noisy I couldn't wait to get out of there. Never returning

Terribly noisy. Restaurant prices for pub food.NO table service. Place needs a lot of refurbishment, eg very wobbly table. Could not get out of fast enough. Bad choice for our 49 wedding anniversary dinner.

our meal and service was great only negative a large group let their little children run riot parents to busy drinking the poor wait staff had to be care full not to trip over or drop dishes on them credit to them for not losing their cool

We have been to the restaurant several times usually during daytime hours and for some reason parents decided to bring kids that didn,t stop from running around making our visit short

Beautiful day catching up with family. Our meals were lovely, very little waiting time (the room was packed) the staff very pleasant and helpful. Was there almost at least 2 1/2 hours and never once felt they were waiting for us to leave. Will definitely make return visits and recommend to others
