Had a great time, staff were very friendly and accomodating and the food was delicious. Would recommend this place to friends. Will be coming back

More a place of style over substance. We've been before for drinks, which was lovely. This time, drinks were still great, and food was nice, but dining experience sub-par. Service is snooty "haven't you been here before" (yes, we had, thank you), and table seating not suited to <4-6 people as couches etc encourage intimacy with those you are seated next to , rather than across from (eg if you book for two, one of you might be sharing a 3 seater lounge with two other strangers sitting > 1m away from their partner across a small table). We ended up with a nice table outside but food was missed from our order (so we had oysters after our lamb) and the overall feeling was the staff didn't want to be there. A sensational location with excellent drinks and good food but they need to up the substance (in terms of comfort and service) beyond the style to be a really classy venue.

Great food and wonderful attentive service. We enjoyed the shared plate concept. The beautiful location is just amazing. We will definitely be back and would not hesitate to recommend Henry Deane.

Fantastic food. Menu is very short, but the kitchen is very small, so understandable. We had all veggo options, absolutely yummy all of them! Service was a little slack, but with the views and food - we let that slide.

Delicious food, great views and very comfy seating. The staff are attentive and friendly and the drinks are great. Not many places can beat this on a beautiful Sydney day.

What a gorgeous afternoon! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was impeccable (despite being super busy) and the room is simply divine with the beautiful big pink couches. Highly recommend the surprise cocktail!

Awesome food ! Loved the experience and will definitely be back again. Wine menu is also brilliant and you can't get past the view on a sunny day.

We loved the whole atmosphere of this venue. An amazing surprise. The view over was spectacular as was the service. We stayed overnight in the superbly decorated rooms. I have been telling everyone how good this venue is since we stayed.

Lovely decor to enjoy a delightful lunch of those very tasty mussels and tuna, with a cold glass of the French Riotor rose. Just wonderful.

Food is quite nice. Not a lot of choices in the menu. View is fantastic. Service is poor and venue is noisy. Such a shame!

Henry Deanne st Hotel Pallidade hosts a magnificent view with excellent food choices and attentive service. We would highly recommend this venue for all occasions.

This is one of my favourite locations, stunning views, great surrounds, wonderful food. Love it!! Still need to fine tune the back end services - they forgot to give me my credit card and no one answered any of my 10 phone calls the next day to confirm it was there.

Food and drink were great, as was the view. What wasn't so great is that we had to leave our table after 2 hours while we were still drinking and eating.

Excellent food, service & views. The team were very friendly. Best to have a group of 4 or 6 so you can try many of the tasting plates. It's very comfortable on the lounges. Only draw back is a max 2 hours stay. Went at lunch time & could have stayed all afternoon. Have already booked our next visit.

My friend (visiting from WA) and I had a wonderful lunch - delicious food; great location. Bit odd there is no coffee or tea though.

Funky vibe great views good food but the service.....well waiting 20 minutes for a bottle of wine is a bit much.......very friendly though......we liked the no kids policy as well

Service was friendly, but slow. Which was a bit rich when they wanted to hurry us for the next seating. We would have finished our dessert sooner, if we'd been able to!

Great location, food and drinks. Staff were very busy so we had to wait a while, but luckily we were not in a hurry and enjoyed the view!

Gorgeous view and the brussel sprouts are so yum. The cheese platter is expensive for what you get. Cocktails are expensive and small serving sizes. Wine list is great and better value. Staff are nice. Pretty decor.

Stunning views of Sydney with a great, relaxed, holiday vibe and delicious food. A real hidden gem. But a noisy one... Go for close conversation with the person right next to you, not across the table or across a group.

Extraordinary views, beautiful decor, great food and outstanding service. When I mentioned we were there on a pre-birthday dinner, we were offered drinks and desert to celebrate. The place has a whimsical feeling, standing alone and tall in the middle of a historic neighbourhood. We will be back.

Spectacular views and staff was accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyed the scallops, cheese plate and lamb cutlets. We had a large group of friends meet us after lunch and they kindly offered a private room until 6 which we appreciated!

great location and view but service was less than professional. Out of stock of wine selection and forgot a menu selection - suggest they write it down. The bill gives a subtotal of items ordered and adds a gratuity of 10% and then suggests a tip - a bit rude

Hotel Palisade's Henry Deane was a beautiful restaurant perfect for our family birthday celebration. Food was excellent and service was friendly. With that view hoe could they go wrong. Highly recommend

Great service, delicious food and amazing views! The couch seats upstairs that were our booking were too low for mum but the lovely team easily moved us to another area and made us feel like it wasn't a bother at all. Highly recommend.

Henry Deane has a great view, nice staff and tasty food. For food I would recommend the cauliflower, brussels sprouts, and crispy mulloway. For drinks, the espresso martinis were delicious!

Service was a little patchy which doesn't stop them from charging you a 10% compulsory service charge. The waitress also scraped the plates AT THE TABLE which is not something I've experienced possibly ever, not even in cheap Chinese joints. There was a long string of paper in my crab slider which put me off a little. Too bad the views are still amazing!

Henry Deane never disappoints .. Service always very professional ,sitting back eating and drinking quality food and cocktails while looking at that view . Breathtaking

The Palisade is a great pub and the views are absolutely gorgeous! Service was good, food was really good and I think it was good value for the money. We will definitely go back!!!!

The views are what you come here for! The food is also great although a little on the pricey side. Lunchtime or early evening gives you maximum enjoyment for views.

Great service & food with sensational views. For that special occasion! Only issue is that after about 2.5 hours your table is rebooked, so a bit inconvenient.

Had a beautiful night at Henry Deane! The food was incredible and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great night and helped surprised my mum with dessert, sparklers and candles for her birthday. Can't wait to go back soon.

Great food and fantastic location. Normally I don't go for share plates - as I don't find the serves substantial - but not the case here! Great Moroccan middle eastern flavours + cool vibe cocktails. I'd rush back.

The view and decor were exceptional, and the food was good quality. Great wine. We felt that the service was a little slow, however, and there were lots of rules regarding payment.
