Lovely traditional Chinese. BYOB $25 option. Staff were so friendly. Was v busy which is always a good sign. Menu varied, crispy aromatic duck was 5 stars

I had chicken and cashew with steamed rice - it was the blandest meal I’ve eaten the rice was not great very overcooked! So disappointed

John’s service made the experience even better than we expected. Good food, pleasant attentive staff.

Was an early visit (6pm) and was rushed to order. Waitresses hung around table too much, as nothing else to do as no one else in restaurant at that time. My food was bland and uninviting, probably my fault for not choosing something else. My partners food was good, he enjoyed it. Noted that they don't give out knife and fork with each course, you have to use the same ones all through the meal. A clean pair would be nice each course. it is always cold in there we noticed. Air con could have been slightly higher due to weather outside. Had to sit in coat all the time. A little too expensive for the food we got. Other than that, it was ok. Won't go back in a hurry.

Staff were friendly and reasonably knowledgable about such a huge menu& all its choices.......... Dim sims were cold&dry&tiny& tasteless, but they didn't charge us for them....... Toffee banana dessert was bitter coz toffee taken2far 4colour but they not check taste, so were disappointing (as well menu said$38for2people but charged$57@checkout& pulled them up on such a major overcharge from what menu said)....... The vegetarian spring rolls were huge& so tasty while crunchy& moist inside without being too oily like some other places serve them....... The crispy duck that we had as Peking pancakes, was really dry meat that was a let down for usually moist duck meat..... Prawn toast had heaps prawn meat& not much bread, which we think was good balance for them...... This place is more expensive than most Chinese restaurants but they not use msg& have some really unnusual options to try that u dont find in other Chinese restaurants& in city so dearer for them2exist there.......

The only restaurant that I have visited that has a separate gluten free menu. This is fantastic.

The food is always good here and fairly priced. Service is also great, its no wonder the place is usually full of customers.

The wasabi king prawns were one of the best I have ever tasted; the balance of heat, sweetness and savoury was perfectly done? All the other dishes were also delicious, sweet and sour pork, lemon sauce chicken. Will definitely come back. 👍

Food was good. But a $2 per person Sunday surcharge is ridiculous. It’s your business, stop passing on extra costs to patrons. Your bus expenses are built into your offer, stop passing it to patrons. On top of this, another 1.5% credit card surcharge. Unreasonable.

Been coming here for over 20 years! The gluten free menu keeps us coming back. The atmosphere is amazing where you can actually sit and hear each other talking at the table.

The starter was raw and removed from the bill. One of the mains was nothing more than chewy fat, the duck was ok. The chow main was nothing like described and the noodles were literally burnt black The staff did not seem to care

Fantastic meal! We thoroughly enjoyed every course. My Wasabi prawns were tender, and my husband loved his stay prawns. Try the salt and pepper veggies - eggplant, mushrooms and beans!
