Food was delicious and quick. The place has a really nice feel to it.

Perfect place for a pre-theatre meal. Great selection of dumplings in a lovely atmosphere. Make sure you book as they do get busy.

Bad waitress. She does not enjoy her work. She was cleaning our table while we were still eating. It was 1.30pm only.

Service was average and we received the wrong food. Okay but not as good as hoped.

Dumplings were delicious as per usual. My kids thought the lemon chicken needed more lemon sauce. Always a fun place to visit.

The staff are a bit abrupt but this restaurant has amazing dumplings so I’ll definitely be back!

We had 3 dumpling dishes and one main dish with rice. Two of the dumpling dishes were fine. However one of the dishes was hard and dry and it was obvious it had been sitting for quite some time after it was cooked (it was served immediately to us). The chicken main dish was also very dry and tough and tasted like it had been reheated. Despite telling 2 wait staff nobody was interested in us. There was no offer to remove the chicken from the bill or offer an explanation. I don’y know how this restaurant is still in business.

HuTong Dumpling bar Melbourne is the most amazing restaurant. I was introduced to and have not stopped visiting since. The friendly smile you get the second you walk in the busy atmosphere shows just how liked this venue is, the food is exceptional. I love love love and 3 stories in this place. It’s easily my fave restaurant to frequent.

Incredibly efficient and accomodating, we were well looked after after spending a whole year talking about the chilli dumplings with a friend, we loved every mouthful!

The dumplings were all great - really tasty and delicious. Banana fritters were very average, as were the Singapore noodles. Beef and broccoli was delicious and worth the hefty price.
