This is our families favourite place to eat in the city for dumplings. Great service, food and atmosphere. Make sure you book early to avoid disappointment

We waited a very long time for our order to be taken and had to flag sown a waiter. Half of our lunch came and after waiting a long time and several follow ups, eventually the rest of our lunch arrived. We were very disappointed with the service, particularly since the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. A quick work lunch turned took ages in the end.

The Singapore noodles, and Salt and pepper squid were very bland and flavorless. However my soup dumplings and Chinese broccoli were to die for - (as per usual). I visit this restaurant every time I go to Melbourne. Its THE spot for dumplings hands down, but haven't had much luck as far as other dishes go!

While the two of the three dishes were good, the service was dismal and the bathrooms were in a less than satisfactory state. There's much better out there.

The food and the service was excellent. The ambience of the restaurant is nice. We were seated at the top level which was quiet which made the experience all the more better.

The dumplings at Hu Tong are incredible which should be the reason you come. The service is pretty good also, a really efficient workforce you will rarely have an empty cup.

Service & meal was quick & amazing. XLB were delightful as expected. You must be out by a certain time so we ate really fast.

Food was OK but the waiter was so rude, shouting at us for requesting the bill to be split into drinks & food. Refused to do it initially because he said it was too much work. Went to ask manager who was lovely and of course said they could do it. Felt really intimidated by him.
