The past two times I have eaten at Hu Tong, the food has not been as fresh. Level 2 staff are lovely... can’t say much about level 3.... most likely won’t be returning for a while

Dumplings were amazing. The Lady serving is want friendly at all and really didn't seem happy to bring us more water when needed.

The food was excellent as usual. Top marks for flavour and you can’t beat the price point. The service was very lethargic (with the exception of the man greeting you at the door). not one time a waiter came to my table without being called over. Even for the initial drink and food order!came to my table without being called over.

We travelled in from inter state and this is my second time for HuTong. The food is the best I have found by a long shot and their dry chicken and chilli dish brought back memories of our trip to China some years back. Highly recommend, great service and good value for money.

The service was good but the food quite disappointing with inadequately cooked and therefore tough brisket and pan fried pork dumplings that were quite doughy and tasteless.

Good was great. Staff could have been a little more attentive with the wine top ups or leave the bottle on the table for us to top up.

Good food, no wait times when you book a table. Service could be a bit friendlier at times (depending on waiter/waitress).

Our seating was terrible, stuck in the back corner of the top floor, for a birthday dinner - staring at a brown wall.

The food was ok but not as good as previous visits. We were seated near 2 tables of 8 who were very noisy. We found it impossible to hear each other.

Booked for 5. We came as 8. They sorted us out no problem. Dumplings were the highlight.

Quick service as we had theatre tickets and we had plenty of time to eat and get to our show within an hour.
