We visited Kitchai for dinner our first time eating there. It was quite busy being a Saturday night and had 1.5 hours there. Food was fresh and tasty. It was substantially more expensive than other Thai restaurants we have been to.

Took my daughter and 5 friends for her birthday (15) and the food was excellent and service was great.

It was so rushed. They kept reminding us that our booking was only valid for 90 mins which we were aware of upon booking. They barely gave us 2 mins to get seated and look through the menu to ask us for our order. We asked for a few mins and then ordered drinks. Barely 2 mins after that they asked if we were ready and we asked for more time to look at entrees. They didn't leave and made us feel pressured to rush our order. Once we finally ordered our entrees they came back in 2 mins to ask for our mains, we asked for more time and said let the entrees come first. They were constantly standing around pressuring us. We had to rush ordering our mains and the food was out in BARELY 5 mins ! They were trying to constantly pressure us into finishing fast and leaving asap so they can bring in more customers even though we made a booking over a week ago and were allowed to 90 mins of peaceful dining. Once we asked for a take away container they brang the bill out straight away and started cleaning our table. Felt like we were being 'subtly' asked to move along. WE STILL HAD 30 MINS LEFT. Our group of 7 were very disappointed with the behaviour and noisy environment caused by staff there and mind you the restaurant wasn't even very crowded at all. Don't think we'll be recommending or taking the time to go back.

The food we ordered was great, came.out very fast. Service from our wait staff was very friendly. However yesterday's heat wave really affected our overall dinning experience as there was no AC in the restaurant. We were sweating in our seats and repeatedly asked for extra ice for our drinks. The owners could do something about fixing the AC to improve customers dinning experience.

Service has gone downhill! I am very disappointed as a loyal customer of Kitchai, did not expect this service from them. They served me a cold main dish after waiting a while. The orange juice they served us was completely bland; watered down as it was mostly ice. I guess after a business excels financially, they end up ruining the overall food quality and not caring about the customers that helped shape their business (by referring more people) :)..

I would like to provide feedback regarding the poor service my family and I experienced during our visit on 8/9/25, which was meant to be a special birthday dinner for my husband. • As I had an emergency, my family began dining without me. I arrived with my friend and my brother’s family about 30 minutes late. • After joining, I placed a second round of orders. The waiter took our order, repeated it back to confirm, so I expected it was processed correctly. • Later, I ordered another starter, which was served after about 10 minutes. • However, after waiting 45 minutes, our second order still had not arrived. When I asked another waiter to check, I was informed that our order had not been entered into the system at all. This experience was very disappointing, especially on such an important occasion. We were left waiting unnecessarily, and what should have been a celebratory evening turned into a frustrating one due to service mistakes. I kindly ask that you look into this matter to ensure that similar issues do not happen to other customers in the future
