Hot food wasn't great. Sashimi was good but very limited in range (during lunchtime). Very nice dessert buffet. A very big range. Service was pretty good.

BRILLIANT FOOD, ANYONE CAN EAT HERE NO MATTER THEIR TASTE IN FOOD, GREAT ATMOSPHERE AND GREAT SERVICE. IT IS SO NICE TO GO TO A RESTAURANT AND GET A QUALITY MEAL AT A GOOD PRICE AND GO HOME SATISFIED

We went on the day where lots of kids were and when they ran up and down past our table, you could feel the floors vibrating and it annoyed me quite a bit. But that's not the restaurant's fault - we just had bad luck. The variety of the food wasn't as much as I thought it'd be. The sushi was very nice though and got pretty full from one plate. Staff were all nice and friendly.

My daughter and I had a delightful buffet meal, the staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the food on offer was delicious, with almost too many choices available. It was a cold, wet, dismal day, but even so, the view of the river was still worthwhile, and the restaurant pleasantly warm.

We went there at 12:30 but some dishes already run out and have not been refills. The variety of dishes are not so great. And I need drank a lot of water afterwards,either the foods were too salty or there has msg I am not sure! Quite disappointed!

Pleasantly surprised!! Yummy plump oysters! Spacious, clean, and good service! Good variety too. Looking forward to our next visit! Would definitely recommend to our friends.

Food was Great, Lexie is a mavelous host and very friendly and obliging. I found the plates not soo clean, and theGlutinous Rice in Coconut Milk desert I had was sour, it maybe because It was almost 9pm and it may have been sitting there for a while, otherwise, a def must visit to Laputa.

Food was really good & fresh. We love the sashimi & beef. The environment was nice and staff service was very good. We will go back again. Cheers.

Food wasn't mind blowing but at least they had varieties. The desserts were good and seafood soup and chillied fish. Nothing standed out but it was a decent lunch experience.

First and last time visiting this restaurant.Go for the atmosphere and view, definitely not the food. Go only if you have the discount or groupon voucher, not worth paying full price.

Oysters were so much smaller than when Laputa was 1st open! Very good variety nevertheless... Keep up the good work! Will definitely be back and hopefully oysters will be larger again!

My mother and my children love there. All staffs are good customer service. All food are testy. there are perfect place. We are love there

Great atmosphere. We all had fun. Food is enjoyable.will come again next time. Have suggested to friends. Probably the inconvenient is about parking but it's manageable

Overall it's a great place to dine. Wide selection of food but at the same this is the reason I am not giving a full rating as the selection is not entirely Japanese. It's probably should be called an Asian buffet restaurant. Great view of the city.

Service was severely lacking in terms of refilling the food. Many times areas were just empty and took so long to get replenished. No oysters or crab on the day I went which was very disappointing. No tempura either. Luckily got our meal with a groupon voucher but would never pay full price for this!

The location on the jetty was pretty on a sunny Sunday. There was a large variety of dishes of which I tried most. Highlights- fish katsu, salmon sashimi and sushi, prawn tempura sushi, takoyaki, crumbed oysters, egg pudding and taro ice cream. Negatives- ramen broth, vegetable tempura, Japanese cheesecake. Overall enjoyable experience and worth a visit

Great service, friendly wait staff that were very informative except the cashier (very unhappy and didn't say a word) Excellent range of dishes to choose from.

Lunch at Laputa was excellent. The variety of food was amazing. The dessert, especially, was very well presented. What I particularly liked was that the desserts were set up in individual little pretty plates. Similarly, the sashimi options were individually plated, making them more hygienic and appealing to the eyes. Very enjoyable lunch.

The staff are getting more helpful and friendly. In terms of service, they are very efficient and prompt. We love the environment. However, the spread should varies from time to time

Very enjoyable. Staff very good. Clearing tables quickly. Only thing I found was the dumplings and skewered food was lukewarm. Would like to see them kept hotter.

Staff on floor are friendly and efficient but not the chefs but understandable for a busy service. We came in on the second service and were being greeted and seated with excellent customer service. A few feedback to give, soups were lukewarm and oily. No refill on some food selection such as raw fish sushi and seafood. All of all lack of food selections for the price so it was just a fair experience.

Great range of food selection. Will need go back for other stuff that we didn't get a chance to eat because we were too full.

The menu is very deceiving. Unless you like sashimi then this is a waste of money. Dessert is ok though but all in all not a good experience.

Value for money. Food was fresh and service was good. Ambience of restaurant was pleasant. It was good for kids to eat free during the holiday. Will definitely go back again.

It was great value for money. The selection of food was outstanding. The staff were very friendly. However, the fish used in the sashimi section could have been fresher.

The food is really good. Love the fresh oyster, salmon, clam and mussels. The steamboat is interesting. Wide range of desserts available. The view from the restaurant is really great. Will be back again next time!

Great food in terms of taste and presentation. Very friendly staff especially Angelise and Kenny. Value for money for adults but for children, the price is not reasonable. Should charge much less for children as they do not eat as much.

The restaurant has beautiful view. It offers a huge selections of food that satisfied every member of my family. We have tried several buffet dining, this one is the best. Definitely will come again.

The seafood were fresh and tasty. Many excellent choices of desserts. However, the Ramen/Udon soups were not hot enough. No tea or coffee with the buffet meals. Good place to bring the family.

Beautiful location with a lovely view. Great range of food but lacked some flavour especially with the dessert options. Staff were attentive and always busy.

The buffet luncheon was really well presented and absolutely delicious! Service was excellent and ambience ideal. We had a great afternoon and I have told all my friends, we've been back a few times now. Will try dinner.... Sabrina Fenwick

Amount of food was very limited, and many things listed in the menu wasn't available. For the amount you pay, this along with shoddy service is not acceptable.

Wine glass was dirty and it was very disappointing food were all cold and dry. I tasted as all the food was prepared early morning. Will not go back again.

Great variety of food and above average quality. Service was good. Location with ample parking within 5 mins walk. Can Groupon and good value for money.

Cold seafood section was very good, however items from hot food section was not that hot. Nice atmosphere during lunch as it was not busy. Waiters were also very nice and welcoming.

Larger pieces of salmon sashimi this time round. The selection of food has improved a lot from a few months ago and is really good now.

I was very disappointed about the hotpot menu, and the waitress was not helpful. Only 2 slices of raw beef were provided for my family of 4. We went there just for the hotpot.
