Milky Lane - Gasworks

First time diners. Small serves and not best value for money, but nice flavours.

Food took ages to come out, and they didn’t have the ingredients for any of the milkshakes or drinks we wanted. Burgers were good but overpriced for what you got

Love, love, love!! Everything was incredible, super fast, tasty and an all around great experience.

Great food, awesome drinks and fabulous desserts. Must try the loaded fries, crazy shakes (more like a meal) and decadent desserts.

Table outside kitchen wasn’t ideal when I’d booked ahead, lights were in our faces, music so loud we had to yell to each other and could use better quality shake flavouring - sickly sweet with the syrups. Otherwise, burgers and food was amazing!!! We would still come back but sit outside.

No crispy cream burger special because the sold out the night before. Chicken burger we got has too much going on

I actually expected the the music to be louder & pumping. It was a little disappointing.

Not as fun of a vibe as the Gold Coast and parramatta store we have visited and it took us a while to be served and had to search for someone so we could order dessert. Food is absolutely amazing though

We had prebooked and had arrived at 7:00pm but our table wasn’t even ready. We waited so long for food and service. The burgers were decent, sides were okay but dessert was dog shit. Food came out at different times. 1 hours wait for main food and 45 minute wait for dessert. My mate was given a hot pan (cookie dough dessert) but was not warned at how hot it was, resulting in him burning his hand. Doubt I’ll ever go back and or recommend it to anyone.

Very disappointed- the drinks were way to strong not enjoyable at all and the burgers were a heart attack in one bite, very overrated for what it is.

Great atmosphere and customer service. I found the food pretty simple, not anything special. The desserts looked cool and tasted okay, but very overwhelming and over the top. We were excited to visit but it didn’t mean expectations unfortunately.

Food was amazing. I always go to burger bars for my dinners out I love a good burger, milky lane is an experience. Kyle went over and beyond in his service and made sure we were looked after. I'll be going back again very soon.

Very disappointing. We were so excited to try this but honestly could have had better food at Maccas. The meat was cold, dry and processed. It was expensive. They had run out of one of the deserts at 6pm at night.

The staff were amazing, extremely helpful. The food and cocktails were exceptional, which kinda makes up for the really long wait times.

It was good food but the wait was crazy it was about 40 mins before we got it I think they might have forgotten out Oder , we were offered complimentary drink but them we ended up paying for them 😳

I ordered a burger that was tasting like barbecue sauce in a bun that was sitting on the pass for 15 minutes. Service was okay.

Although it was very busy, service ran smoothly and staff were incredibly friendly

My friend and I absolutely loved the food and have been wanting to come here for a long time. My only criticism would be minor regarding the service. We waited 5-10 minutes for a bottle of water, and 15-20 minutes for our order to be taken (we had tried several times to get the servers attention as she walked back and forth from other tables). No sort of conversation was had between us and any of the servers/food runners, though they weren’t overtly rude in anyway, just seemed bored. We had a great chat with the guy who took our payment after our meals though who had a great energy. The venue has such a great atmosphere, especially when it’s busy, so it would be a perfect experience if they were able to enjoy themselves a bit more. We will definitely be returning for another cheat day!

I was really excited about trying Milky Lane for the first time after watching their posts from the Surfers store. Unfortunately my expectations were not met and I was left dissapointed. Firstly we wanted to try one of your signature Shakes but we're told the machine was not working. Second, we asked for one of the frozen ciders, but were once again told the machine wasn't working. Third, one of our party wanted a gluten free bun, were told (10 mins after we ordered) that you were sold out of gluten free buns. Overall the burgers were pretty bland and the meat was overcooked, especially when comparing it to other burger places that I frequent. The serving staff were great and didn't make me pay for my burger. I really had high hopes for Milky Lane but was left really dissapointed

Rather overpriced, both burgers that were ordered just fell apart on the first bite. One burger had so much sauce on it it became inedible as the amount of sauce made it way too spicy to eat.

Food was delicious. Service was terrible, unorganised chaos! Sat for 20 minutes before someone approached us to take drinks order. (We weren’t the only table this happened to) Someone else came to take food order without tablet and had to come back to double check order. The box on our table had just 2 forks and a spoon, I had to grab a knife from another table and wipes. Couldn’t get a shake. I think staff just need clear direction and organisation.

Information regarding split bills on the menu is misleading. It states that if you have a party less than 4 people splitting your bill is an option, it was only my partner and I who made the reservation and we were unable to share the total amount of the bill in store. He had to transfer me money afterwards, keep this in mind if you decide to dine in with Milky Lane. However, apart from that the food and cocktails were great, the atmosphere was great and the wait times were amazing. Our first entree was brought out to us within the first 10 minutes (Arrived just before 5pm).

My partner and I came in and we were honestly very disappointed. We wanted to try the mega shakes but the machine wasn’t working. And then we just ordered normal cokes. From there we ordered our food and the bacon Mac and cheese croquets were the only good thing about the whole experience. The burgers were tiny, way too much sauce. We were hoping the special sauce that came with the sides would be on the burger. For the price of the burger they were tiny. Looked nothing like the photos we had seen. Cheese wasn’t melted, thin patty dry chicken. We had been looking forward to coming here since it opened but we don’t think we will be back again.

Overpriced when compared to similar venues - wouldn’t highly recommend.
