Montezuma's - Albany Creek

the app is hard to use and every table around us asked to order with the wait staff...no servic, yet prices keep going up? Manager walked around with gloves on her hands..gross and was more intetested in looking after her family who were dining than serving other customers..even the sangria wasnt good tonight. it will be a long time before we return and we used to be weekly diners..how sad to see the place go so downhill

what a disapointment..our favourite restaurant no longer takes your order at the table..we will go to somewhere that does.

We had a wonderful time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our meals were served very quickly and were delicious.

Lovely restaurant and staff, shame about th scan code thing didn’t work and we had to wait and order our meals again after everyone else at the table got theirs. The staff were amazing g though

Table for 6. We arrived in two groups of 3. We 3 first to arrive were given one bottle of water, 3 glasses. 2nd party of 3 arrived no further water or glasses. Asked for same, got the bottle of water, no glasses. Entree, Jalapeno poppers, arrived - no plates (I'm 62; I no longer eat with my fingers. Mains arrived; unfortunately the two little kids' meals came last (a simple nacho each). Our additional hot sauces didn't come without asking. The meal was bland. Montezuma's Delight. Kids' nachos were lacklustre and certainly not worth the cost. I hate putting public reviews up, and I won't, but, boy oh boy, you could surely do a whole lot better. We have been customes of Montezuma's since the first restaurant in Burleigh Heads back in the 1980's. Very disappointed. We were so looking forward to a Mexican feast.

Fresh tasty food but very expensive due to extra add-ons like sour cream and guacamole which should be included in the price. Good service though and friendly staff.

We are long term customers as I love Mexican food. Possibly the Burritos and Enchaladas could be browned a bit more. Mine were tending to be a bit soggy. Still enjoyable. Maybe play Mexican music like "La Bamba" :-)

the noise levels were very high making it hard to hear the waitperson and people at my own table. the biggest disappointment was the wait to be served after the main meal. we sat for a good 10 minutes before we were forced to hail someone and order dessert but then the table wasn't cleared and the waitperson turned up with the desserts order and I just had to look at her with a question mark as to where she was going to put the order. the team were doing a great job of running food orders out to tables - very quick and efficient, though none of them were using the trip back to the kitchen to take empty plates or clear tables which was a shame and resulted in them coming across disorganized and out of control. apart from that, we love eating there and the new meal presentation is a great improvement, the food great as always.

I had a chicken burrito but the chicken was totally sparse and was I into tiny diced pieces the size a peas and the rice was dried out on the top

Food was great👌. ..however the dining experience was extremely noisey & bright..Sound insulation & less bright lights would make a huge improvement. Used to visit Kedron Montezumas years back which had a fantastic dining atmosphere

Definitely needed more staff. Meals came out at all different times. We received one meal than another table got some meals than we waited at least another 10 mins for the others meals. Food didn't disppointment.

One of the meals didn’t even come out , we all finished before my son got his ! And it was wrong! But he was so hungry he ate it ! Not enough staff to service a busy Father’s Day night. Will not go back.

Wait staff tried. Food was ordinary and not good value for money. The last two times I’ve been there, always an excuse. Used to be one of my favourites. No longer.

Great food, helpful staff and good atmosphere. Unfortunately, near the end of our meal a screaming child spoilt the atmosphere nd we made a hasty exit.

Tasty Mexican, a good family atmosphere that can be a little noisy at times. Service was fine, some new staff members that could do with more time in the industry, but overall a very enjoyable night!

The customer service was great, but the food was very bland. The booth we were in had no air flow and it didn’t seem like the aircon could reach that far so it was quite warm and uncomfortable. To be honest we couldn’t get out of their quicker.

Food was delicious as always but service was appalling. We waited over 60 minutes for our food to come out. There was no attention to our table, checking for drinks etc. we flagged down 2 staff members to check on the whereabouts of our food and no one came back with a definitive answer. The food then came out sporadically, my daughter had been eating for almost 10 minutes before anyone else’s food arrived. People who were seated and ordered after us received their mains well before us. For the amount of staff rostered on and the amount we paid, we were very disappointed with the experience.
