Montezuma's - Albany Creek

The customer service was great, but the food was very bland. The booth we were in had no air flow and it didn’t seem like the aircon could reach that far so it was quite warm and uncomfortable. To be honest we couldn’t get out of their quicker.

Food was delicious as always but service was appalling. We waited over 60 minutes for our food to come out. There was no attention to our table, checking for drinks etc. we flagged down 2 staff members to check on the whereabouts of our food and no one came back with a definitive answer. The food then came out sporadically, my daughter had been eating for almost 10 minutes before anyone else’s food arrived. People who were seated and ordered after us received their mains well before us. For the amount of staff rostered on and the amount we paid, we were very disappointed with the experience.

A couple of the staff must have been having issues and took it out on the customers - bad policy. We enjoyed the food but will not be returning

We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff went out of their way to provide an excellent dining experience. The food was great and the portion sizes were very generous. I had a watermelon mocktale for the first time and loved it.

Entree took 40 minutes to come out and the 3 dips were tiny. The dinner came out 10 minutes later. The meals are large but one “Gringo” had no taste at all.

The food was great. The service was appalling We ordered drinks they went to the wrong table. Ordered more drinks (3) received one. Informed staff of the error and 2 missing drinks they brought 3 more. Came to pay account and were then overcharged by 2 drinks along with a $20 public holiday surcharge that we were not informed of at time of booking or upon arrival. I doubt we will return.
