Started poorly with them not knowing anything about my booking, but wasn’t a problem as there were plenty of tables available. Next issue was the day’s special not being available even though we were there at 12.30, which I would’ve thought was fairly early in the lunch “window”…so how few specials were available in the first place? Menu overall was fairly limited with mainly breakfast dishes all day, but the chicken salad with quinoa & spiced pumpkin I had was delicious. It’s a licensed restaurant but only spritzers on the menu & when we asked if there was a wine list we weren’t given one, just asked what we wanted to drink. Overall nice food, friendly staff but really need to up their game regarding service

Four of us gathered although two arrived at different times, a bit later than the noon booking. The staff were attentive, greeted me by name, brought water and glasses to the table. When the four of us were finally present and I could finally quell the converconversation

Lovely food but it took 25 minutes for someone to approach about ordering a coffee then a further 40 minutes before our food arrived. We sat there for over an hour waiting for breakfast. Don’t think I would go back.

Niche is a lovely restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised how delicious the food was. And it was not that crowded on Sunday lunch time so my friends enjoyed the time together. We had the Entertainment Guide and got a 25% off.

I love Niche on Bridge. Coffee is yum and it's a great place to meet either clients or friends. Parking is easy compared to most places in Richmond too. Central location - easy access for most areas of Melbourne

This is one of our regular local haunts. The food is consistently good and a good variety on the menu (there is a different breakfast/lunch and dinner menu). Staff are friendly and welcoming. It can get very busy on Sunday brunch times though. Generally a lot quieter in the evenings.

Could bring bill to the table earlier. Waiters tend to avoid bringing it but it enables things to be sorted without a rush.

First time back for a long time, as good as I remember it being. Pity there weren't more people enjoying it. But most of the restaurants in Bridge Road were empty on Thursday night. A sign of the times.
