Food was lovely as usual. Fresh produce and detailed presentation. Only down side but food took awhile to come out and rice was given after finishing all the meat overall great experience.

Everything was great, second time being there and it did not disappoint.

The food quality was average and somewhat overpriced. Service was friendly, however, the initial wait to be seated was a little unorganised and cramped in the waiting area.

staffs are very friendly menus are different from website. quality of meat is great but i don’t understand prices of some of menus. tiny portion of udon noodles with 3pieces of off cut wagyu meat that cannot use for bbq for $31 ?? an Inani udon in wagyu-ya in south yarra is twice bigger than udon in Niku ou and it has a proper slices of wagyu meats!

The staff were and table service were great. Food was delicious. Highly recommend

The meats are tender and juicy and all of the dishes tastes amazing! It is ground-breaking. The service was excellent and professional as well.

As a vegetarian, there wasnt much options. But my friends loved the meat and their truffle rice was good too. I believe it’s their signature dish

Niko Ou is a very nice venue. Love the wagyu range. Bit pricy but worth it for a special event. 5% discount with cash payment.

We were warmly welcomed upon entering the premises and were ushered to our reserved seats immediately. Cim, who waited at our table gave us a broad knowledge of wagyu and Japan. It was a nice dinner to end off the busy week.

Had a beautiful meal of Wagyu on the grill, with chawanmushi. Beef was tender and melt-in-your-mouth. Chawanmushi with uni was average. A tad pricey but overall, excellent place to get your japanese fix!

Expensive but fantastic!! The food was really nice. The beef melts in your mouth. Would definitely recommend the truffle rice. Service was absolutely fantastic! Would highly recommend.

Possibly the best Japanese BBQ in Melbourne. Food was delicious, service and seating was great. I was worried that we would be rushed given the 1.5 hour seating limit but it was perfect. Definately book in advance as there was a queue however we had a booking so got seated immediately. Love this restaurant.
