Always a pleasure dining at Niku Ou. We loved everything that was served and the staff were really attentive and professional

The wagyu there are awesome! Choose whatever you like, won’t let you down. You should also try the goose liver rice(sorry to forgot the name), GREAT!!!!

Poor customer service. Staffs are pushing you to have dishes and take the plate away even we haven’t finished. Unclear floor with pieces of cabbage and tissue. The table is oily.

The Uni was some of the best I have ever had. Creamy, smooth and fresh. Just what sea urchin should be. The wagyu oyster blade steak and grilled ox tongue also very good. Sashimi overall was excellent. Not cheap food but very good quality.

We have been customers of their Wagyu Ya restaurant in south Yarra for years. Naturally, we had to check out their new sister restaurant, Niku Ou. Love the menu and will definitely come back here again.

The waiters/waitresses were all very polite and very helpful making the dining experience all that more enjoyable. Food was some of the best I’ve had in Melbourne and the environment was unique and welcoming.

It was a great visit, however we had to wait over 1 hour to be seated which I thought was a bit ridiculous. The floor manager comped a round of drinks but to start eating at 845-900 when we booked at 730 is a bit much.

I had booked a session for 7:30pm on 24/8 upon arriving had been notified that we had to give the table back at 8:20pm, i was not impressed by being only given 50 minutes to socialize and catch up with my family with so little time and then having staff taking over the cooking of our meat making us rush so they can have the table, paying $400 for dinner I would expect a bit more time then that.
