Good service, nice selection of foods. Good location. Easy to order and good experience.

Excellent. Great tasting and very affordable prices for the all you can eat Japanese food. Friendly staff and nice setting with ample space. They've recently changed the ordering system to the digital way, making it way more easier and faster to order.

Food was great can’t complain. It was a table for 2, only complaint is there was a table next to us. Right next to us way too personal. Random people sat next to us. They should really move the tables over so random people aren’t invading our personal space, especially when there are multiple free tables elsewhere in the store.

Staff were pleasant but service slow, I recognise it was busy but our drinks came out half an hour after ordering. Food came out intermittently with large time gaps between them. To the point it was nearly not worth eating the last couple of plates.

Food was fresh but the service was slow. We were squashed between another table for two. You had to bump into the person to get into our seats.. not good when there are other tables available to sit at.

Staff not very attentive, had to keep getting their attention to order another serve or drink. Didn’t bring the drinks until asked a couple of times and it wasn’t even that busy. Definitely not as good as the Epping Okami, disappointed. Won’t be back

I've been to Okami Brunswick several times now, and every visit has been nothing short of fantastic! The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, whether it's the sashimi or tempura dishes, everything is packed with flavour. It's rare to find a place that delivers such high quality and consistency every time. The service is always warm and attentive. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel genuinely welcomed from the moment you walk in. A big shoutout to Jera, the owner, who goes above and beyond to ensure everyone has a great experience—her passion for hospitality really shows. And let's not forget the value! The all-you-can-eat menu is generous without compromising on quality. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-notch Japanese food in Brunswick. Okami is a local gem!

Good food but very slow service and priority given to larger group attending that night. By the time we got most of our food it was cold, and we couldn’t order as much as we would have liked in our 2 hour window due to how long it took for each dish to come out. Been to other Okami restaurants and they are much better.

Have been to Kami before in Footscray, but this one in Brunswick I felt was higher quality cooking (even though same menu). Very attentive staff. Highly recommend

Given the incredible quality (and I’m very particular with Japanese food), I just can’t work out how know how they make any money. The quality rivals some of Melbournes best Japanese restaurants (no exaggeration) but the bill looks like it’s missing a zero. Well done and thanks for a great night!

I was disappointed with dinner tonight. Some of the food we had was bland. Meals came out slowly which is not good when you have a timed dinner of 1hr 45mins. Been here many times before but tonight was disappointing for the price you pay per person.

Felt like the staff would have rathered be literally anywhere else than in that restaurant and maybe that’s true, but at least pretend like you want to be there.

Fresh flavors, wide variety, great value, overall a satisfying feast

The food is ok and the service is ok but I found I had to always prompt them for table service even though it wasn’t busy. The price has gone up a fair bit. Still ok for ‘all you can eat “ but for 2 people with the food and two drinks was about $110.
