Great value for money and the food was tasty. I love that they incorporated the QR code method for ordering, it makes things so much easier. The food came out quickly and staff were welcoming.

The food was delicious and lots of varieties. The staff were friendly and they served the food very quickly. The vibe and environment of the restaurant was very nice too.

My experience at Okami Brunswick this time was unfortunately very disappointing. I have visited other Okami locations before and usually enjoyed the experience, but this visit was quite different. First, the tables were extremely cramped, which made the dining experience uncomfortable right from the beginning. After we placed our orders, it took more than 15 minutes for the first dish to arrive. Several items we ordered didn’t arrive at all initially, and we had to request them again or remind the staff that we were still waiting. Because of this lack of organisation, some dishes we asked about ended up arriving twice towards the end of the meal. When we mentioned it, we were told that we had ordered them twice, but this only happened because the original orders never arrived and we had no way of knowing what had been processed. Another issue was that some dishes, especially the meat we ordered, arrived only warm rather than hot, which affected the overall quality of the food. In addition, the used plates were not being cleared from the table regularly. As the table was quite small for two people, the plates started piling up and left very little space for new dishes. Overall, it felt like the staff did not have proper control of which dishes had been ordered, which had already been served, and which were still pending. This created confusion throughout the meal. It was a very disappointing experience, especially considering that I have previously had much better experiences at other Okami locations. I hope the team can improve the organisation and service at this branch.

Our first order took quite a while to arrive, and the table beside us wasn't cleaned, with piles of dirty dishes. It made for a rather unpleasant dining experience.

While the food and overall service were wonderful, my partner and I waited for over an hour for food to come after it was noticed that there had been a glitch in the QR ordering platform. Restaurant very loud as it was Valentines Day and very busy.

Was an enjoyable experience, the miso steak is the best

Have been to Okami Brunswick a few times. Good staff and quick service. The quality of the food is always consistent, especially the Teriyaki Beef! They may need to invest in some new chairs for the patrons soon as the existing one are a little tired. All in all a good and reasonably priced experience.

It was my groups first dining experience at the Brunswick okami branch and it was pleasant. The food was slower to come out than the Footscray branch which is now closed but it was nice. Service was nice enough and the food wasn’t as nice as the Footscray branch but wasn’t bad either.
