Changing time of booking was hard (but they were very busy and the service wasn’t great because of this. Perhaps you need more staff) The food was great.

There isn’t much actual sushi to pick from. The pictures are also a bit deceiving to what you actually get on the plate.

We always love dining at the Shepparton Okami, and totally understand how busy they get. However, all service ceased at the front of the restaurant, no explanation, no food, no staff. Our orders were messed up, some didn't come until the end. It would have been appreciated if we were given a reason for their situation, or a complimentary drink. Very disappointed.

I'm pretty sure Okami translates into yum. The only place we dine out at the doesn't have anyone in the family saying no to . The chain have a no waste food policy which is easy to respect because the food is always to a high standard in both taste and presentation. Staff are so nice and quick to take orders and clear used plates . We can't recommend Okami enough .

The food is great . The staff are lovely and efficient. Table service is quick and they are constantly removing used dishes as soon as they are set aside . Very happy with the stores layout and cleanliness.

We love Okami . Our favourite Okami would have to be our Shepparton Okami . We have eaten at the Whittlesea, Bendigo and Adelaide Okami and have no complaints about any of them . The staff are lovely , service is fast and continuous and the food tastes amazing . We love the no waste policy . And while the prices are slightly higher , they are well worth paying for the quality of the food . The only part we think needs sorting a little better is the price jump from children's to full adult for a 13 year old . From $25.80 to $42.80 is a crazy jump in price . There should be a 13y -16y price in the middle . Because our 13 year old eats the same as she did at 12 but pays $17 more because she had a birthday . We highly recommend Okami to everyone . It's not just sushi , there's so much more to tempt everyone.

Waited ages for food to come out, they forgot half the stuff we ordered and 2 members of my party left due to not getting the items we ordered

I asked to be seated in an area where I could fit a pram in and it wouldnt be in the way of any other guests when making the booking a week in advance. When arriving they had put us on a table cramped into a corner and no where for the pram to be put, we managed to make room once asking guest from another table if we could kindly squeeze the pram past them to get it even close to our table. Once we had finally sat and order some food, everything was okay but we ordered 2 miso soups right at the start and after asking multiple time we never ended up receiving them, our other order came out, very slowly, but never received the 2 miso soup. After sitting for an hour and 45 mins we decided to leave with still no soups in sight

Had to ask 3 people for service before someone actually took our order had to ask twice for one item as they forgot. One item we asked for never showed at all. Staff didn't look very happy. The food was hot and well flavoured when we did recieve the items. Could tell they were very busy but some more organisations amongst the staff would help ease the flow
