If you’re hankering for hearty Indian in Sydney’s southwest, you’re more than likely to find your satisfying fill at Ozi Desi on Blamey Street in Revesby. Right by Revesby station, Ozi Desi ‘does Delhi Ozi style’, which means blending some time-tested, traditional Indian curries with some distinctly Australian flavours, and the results are intriguing – in a good way. The decor and setting are a bit classier than a lot of Indian eateries around Sydney, but this is certainly not stuffy and the atmosphere is always warm and casual, with friendly, helpful staff being another big plus. Still, let’s not forget that the food is the star of the show – Ozi Desi’s menu is huge and vast, split up into sections like vegetarian and meaty mains, northern and southern Indian dishes, and a whole host of enticing appetizers, sides and proper roti and naan breads. Ozi Desi is a neighbourhood favourite and there’s a loyal local clientele, so it’s wise to book a table before you go just in case.
As always, Ozi Desi was excellent. Tonight we focused on the vegetarian options, which the whoel family (vegos and non-vegos) really enjoyed. Service was excellent, with the friendly staff close by to attend to any needs. And it's always nice to be remembered from our last visit.
Very good Indian food served by very friendly staff and a pleasure to dine there. The entree and main selection of dishes offered makes deciding of what to eat very difficult -- a reason to return many times.
tasty and delicious food and fast and great service, good for family and groups and couple , nice ambeince. close to railways station, variety of foods.
As always excellent food and fantastic service, never been let own here. Reasonable prices make this gem a favourite we return to time and again.
Food was good. Service slow and no interaction from waitresses. $3 coorkage per head even for our children? No glass offered for beer bottle. My second beer sat on table getting warm. Front door banging in the wind. Food good not great. Would not go back.
