I was so glad I picked Regent Thai for a special dinner with my sister. The food was amazing! We had pud Thai, Cashew chicken and coconut ice-cream and loved every morsel. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Wonderful food with great flavours as usual, love the coconut prawns and the papaya salad, very refreshing. Good service and excellent wine list.

The meal was fantastic as was the service, however, it was really busy and so loud (even prior to a large group arriving) that we were unable to have a conversation with the people at our table which was very unfortunate given we were trying to celebrate a birthday with family

Food was very flavourful. Was happy with the service was quite busy. Only one criticism would be there was just the 2 of us and we ordered 3 dishes for our mains and they all cam rout separately about 5-10 minutes apart. Not ideal when they were rice, noodles and a beef dish which obviously were to be eaten together as a shared dish. And others who came after us received their dishes which were the same as ours before us. Maybe looking out for their regulars which we would still become in the future.

The quality of food at this restaurant is exceptional and hasn't changed in the 20 plus years we've been going here. The comprehensive menu isn't too large and that's why the food stays consistently excellent. There's a good range of wine, beer and other drinks available to suit everyone. Te and his staff are always friendly and extremely efficient, finding a few minutes to have a quick chat when possible. There were several large groups dining, so the noise level was slightly raised, but in our seating position it wasn't too loud. Will always return!
