Samurai Teppanyaki House

Nick was our chef and he was amazing! The wait staff were quick, helpful and efficient. It was a wonderful evening and dining experience and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Small restaurant with limited atmosphere. Food was ok but expensive as you would expect with Teppanyaki. Catered for gluten free and children. Would have liked a bit more charisma from the chefs

We arrived early and were seated to order drinks first. The restaurant was full but we still got our seats before our reservation time. We ordered the lobster banquet. The salmon, lobster and beef were all very nicely cooked by our chef Nick. We ordered an extra of bean sprouts for 10 dollars, which in retrospect was a very expensive add on for the serving size we got. The service was prompt and friendly.

Great atmosphere. Excellent service. Very friendly staff. Food is tasty. Good selection of drinks. Would be better if the food size can be bigger. Definitely would come back.

The staff are extremely nice, the quality of food is the best I have had in Adelaide, and cooked to perfection. By far the best restaurant in SA, and having been to Japan a few times this food is bang on.

Really good food - good atmosphere - not real teppanyaki chefs though, more flare required. Will still return for the food and recommend to others.

We had an 8 o'clock booking and had to wait to be seated until other diners vacated. We had individual banquets with one ordering extra Tempura soft shell crab. We feel this may have attributed to feeling unwell overnight. Overall a very pleasant experience with Nick as our Chef. However, seating on the bench made group conversation challenging.

Absolutely fabulous restaurant to visit, food was great, staff were excellent. Good location with parking at the back. Will visit again for sure. Superb, do yourself a favour and try it out

Booked online for 2 for dinner and left a comment about having an allergy to garlic and onion. Arrived and greeted by a gentleman who said he read the comment I left and he'd let the kitchen know about these allergies. Young man starts cooking in front of us, clearly unaware of the allergies. I was able to pick around the spring onions but knew I'd be in trouble later. He asked when we'd like our fried rice and I replied before the meat dishes (we had to order more food because the portions were small). And asked for no onions, spring onions and garlic. He nodded and said no worries. But he went on to cook the rest of our meal with them. It was a shame because it was delicious.

We love this place, Clarke and Jack have created an amazing restaurant together, the service is great, food is amazing and the sauces are all house made and delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant for lunch and dinner!

Our family dinner at Samurai Teppanyaki House was top notch, really enjoyable, very authentic and lovely quality and tasty food. It is pricey but great quality. This was my 12 y.o. birthday family dinner and he loved the experience sitting in front of the grill.

The food was delicious, cooked perfectly and good quality. Attentive service, and a good range of sake. The chef did an excellent job, I love watching teppenyaki chefs!

Outstanding food, service and atmosphere enhanced our family dinner at this restaurant. The variety of options available allowed us to taste different dishes as a sharing experience. Highly recommended. This is not a cheap restaurant so be warned.

Amazing food, had the meat banquet and everything was cooked perfectly, the way i asked! At the end we had a scoop of ice cream each, i had green tea and my partner had the black sesame - never had anything like it but god they were both soooo good!! Will definitely be back asap!

The atmosphere is great and the food sensational. It is fun watching your food being cooked. Friendly and attentive staff. It is expensive but definitely worth it.

Good tasting/looking food and friendly service by waiters and cooks. Portions are rather small for the price, cramped seating and despite their new electronic tablet based ordering system, several meal servings where either missed or wrong.

The quality and taste of the food was excellent and the staff were polite and attentive. The only negative is we went for a team lunch and were the only group there, so there was a lack of atmosphere.

Samurai was amazing. The food was so tasty and watching it being prepared in front of us was fascinating. They were great with dietary needs and allergies. I can't think of anything we didn't enjoy and we we will definitely back again. Can't wait to have a party in the function room.

It was a very fresh experience. I would like to visit again if I have a chance. It was a reliable and trustworthy food because Jiri was able to grill Teppan directly in front of the viewer.

Fantastic food and a great wine list. Sometimes the customer service is a little bit lacking, particularly if they are busy. Seafood is always delicious

Enjoyable time with a group - a return visit. Loved the scallops and sake! Good atmosphere, pleasant service. Seating is a little cramped and end corner restricts view of the cooking experience.

Very clean. Excellent service and the food was fantastic. We sat at the bar and watched our food being cooked which was entertaining. For a more intimate night you could sit at a table.
